  1. # Radiophobia 3 – Patch 1.19

  3. This patch is non-cumulative, which means it needs to be applied to the game patched to version 1.18.
  4. Install by unpacking into the game folder and overwriting the contents.
  5.  
  6. - Old saves are NOT automatically compatible; see instructions below.
  7. - Do not use the last save button right after patching as the user.ltx is overwritten. Load the save manually for the first time instead.
  8. - Updated Russian translation can be found in the "OPTIONAL" folder.

  10. ### INSTRUCTIONS FOR OLD SAVE COMPATIBILITY ###
  11. - If you want to play on pre-1.19 saves, delete the "gamedata\meshes\actors" folder from the patch.
  12. - This is necessary because the new NPC models are not compatible with old saves due to the transition to CoP format.
  13. - Not all changes will apply on old saves.

  15. # Changelog
  16. ## New features
  17. - Added the SV-98, AWM, MP9, VPO-101, F2000, G36, MG36 and Taurus Raging Bull from IWP.
  18. - Replaced DVL-10 animations with ones from IWP.
  19. - Revamped the HUD (compass taken from EGUI).
  20. - Replaced all NPC models with ones ported by nestandart_5443 (optimized version).
  21. - Replaced all first person body models to match the new NPC models.
  22. - Added detailed quest markers to nearly every new quest (apart from the freeplay questline).
  23. - Added the 7.62x54mm PP rounds as a designated cheaper ammo for the PK machine guns.
  24. - Added Anomaly Custom knives, ported by Eterna||solation.
  25. - Added spots for important characters, traders etc. like in CoP.
  26. - Added engine support for firemode change animations. Models that support them will now use them.
  27. - Replaced a large portion of icons with ones by Crepis, Maid and Denis Vysockij (LAEE author).
  28. - Replaced most food eating animations with better ones. Ty Davoker and Lassie for the cheese curds item.
  29. - Added a helmet slot blocker icon indicating if the equipped suit has an integrated helmet.
  30. - Replaced the subtitles with a revamped version which also includes subtitles for the video cutscenes.
  31. - Added the option to disable subtitles to the sound settings tab.

  33. ## Changes
  34. - Removed the GPS beacon item as markers can be added in the PDA.
  35. - Lowered the condition threshold for weapon explosion chance from 25% to 15%.
  36. - Lowered bullet resistances for some mutants.
  37. - Removed flashlight models from most BaS weapons since they aren't functional.
  38. - Reduced grenade damage and effective radius.
  39. - NPCs will no longer loot NPCs and monsters killed by the player.
  40. - Removed the health loss from using an anti-rad.
  41. - Increased damage from emissions, it should no longer be possible to survive them without shelter.
  42. - Disabled player zombification from psy damage.
  43. - Removed the food spoiling mechanic and removed spoiled food altogether.
  44. - Reduced the amount of muzzle smoke for SMGs and pistols.
  45. - Increased sunshafts intensity.
  46. - You now get to keep the detector and flashlight after the first mission.
  47. - Reduced guide travel prices.
  48. - Changed SR-1 ammo to 7.62x25mm.
  49. - Readjusted Groza aiming positions.
  50. - Increased minimal condition for weapons looted off zombies and bandits.
  51. - Hunters are now stationary and some spawn only after certain story events.
  52. - Moved some of the new traders to more logical places.
  53. - Moved the dynamite for Wolf to a more intuitive place.
  54. - Removed Hermit and Jamb.
  55. - Items such as the Seeker notes will now get auto-used on pickup.
  56. - Reduced NPC knife spawn chance.
  57. - Trader inventories now repopulate periodically instead of on save load.
  58. - Slightly decreased hunger rate.
  59. - Rebalanced scope and suppressor prices a bit.
  60. - Increased HUD FOV for Gunslinger weapons.
  61. - Removed integrated helmets from suits that are not scientific or exo.
  62. - You no longer have to disable the Brain Scorcher with Alan to finish the questline related to him.
  63. - Added several previously nearly or completely unobtainable weapons to the game world.
  64. - Revamped Shaman stash contents.
  65. - Disabled NPCs going into panic when they have a weapon.
  66. - Removed cars.
  67. - Returned level changer positions from vanilla (no more long walks to Bar).
  68. - Removed NPC icons.
  69. - Disabled prefetching by default.
  70. - Removed ameba anomalies.
  71. - Removed weight from most quest items.
  72. - Settings added by R3 now get saved to "_appdata_\rad3_cfg.ltx" and are no longer tied to the current save.
  73. - Artifacts are no longer required for trader equipment repairs.
  74. - Improved the reward for killing the Dark Archeologist.

  76. ## Fixes
  77. - The body of the water tower sniper should no longer disappear.
  78. - Fixed TOZ-66 unjam animation looping.
  79. - Fixed a number of broken shooting animations when using different combinations of attachments.
  80. - Fixed a bug where the PDA would get knocked out of the players hands, making the 3D PDA not work.
  81. - Fixed some incorrect mutant part counts in Hunter dialog.
  82. - Fixed sight aiming positions for one of the MP5 variations.
  83. - Disabled looting for Outcast.
  84. - Fixed certain weapons not being sellable despite not being quest items.
  85. - Added a condition for the spawn of Friar so that he doesn't die too early in the playtrough.
  86. - Fixed Seeker bodies disappearing.
  87. - Fixed the crazy sniper quest failing when Max is dead despite him not being needed.
  88. - Fixed "Power" being hostile to the player for no reason.
  89. - Fixed player shooting, reloading etc. sounds cutting out when there's lots of gunfire around (for the most part).
  90. - Fixed "Trying add story id" crashes.
  91. - Fixed a crash when picking up items next to an explosive barrel.
  92. - Reduced wear per shot for the OTs-33 and fixed its unjam sound.
  93. - Fixed stuck NPC logic after going underground during an emission.
  94. - Removed the transition between Radar and DV as it interferes with a quest.
  95. - Fixed first person legs getting stuck in a shuffling animation loop.
  96. - The overloaded icon now considers the weight limit set for the current difficulty.
  97. - Fixed tons of incorrect NPC weapon strap positions.
  98.
