  1. Chorus and band are way different though. We were both in the same choir, but had different class periods. The only times where I got to really see the other chorus members were the mandatory rehearsals before the concerts(even then, we weren't allowed to talk).

  5. The reason why we didn’t know each other was because we had different class periods. When I saw her at the rehearsal I was SHOCKED because I never knew she was in chorus. The only times where I got to really see the other chorus members were the one and probably only mandatory rehearsal before the concerts(even then, we weren't allowed to talk). This year, there’s only like <15 people in my class period. One lone guy named Conel. There’s literally like five other people in the alto section. Because it’s actually filled with people who actually want to be here, there’s not really offtopic things to discuss when we’re in sectionals. There’s this one girl named Stasia Miller, she’s pretty quiet but she says she’s not shy. There’s this soprano idk the name of but she called herself a introvert and she said she was too shy to sing the sight reading example. Because the class size is really small, it should be easier to make friends. Aren’t you in AP Music theory this year? You say you’re not in there, but you’re going to have to sightsing as part of the exam. Are there any electives you really enjoyed in middle school/were notable beside band in middle school?
  6. Chorus and band are way different though. I believe band is way better for cultivating friendships because of the constant after school rehearsals and the way smaller sections. I remember in middle school, I didn't want to join band once I found out Rey Luna was in it lol. He played the alto sax, the one that I thought was the most interesting. And then, in 8th grade I joined choir but was planning on leaving when I saw Matthew Osorio was there. This year I overheard people were seriously judging him for being gay and not as a jokey banter way. Wtf? Anyways, I stayed figuring it would help me with my shyness a bit because I didn’t want to chicken out. I even hesitated on joining key club, but I’m glad I did join. However, to put myself out there I’ll have to really involve myself in the school. Those community service hours for Key Club are gonna be A1 this year btw. Do you plan on joining any clubs this year? I’m going to continue doing key club. I’m thinking of trying to get into NHS, and maybe join interact and the creative writing club.
  7. I love hearing band stories, they’re so interesting. In my geometry class last year, Sydney and Hailey would constantly talk about band sometimes. They literally drove hour’s way just to not march in the band in the pouring rain. I swear I heard She Will be Loved being played one day after a Key Club meeting ended. Avery: *World War 7 Flashbacks* The reason why I was feeling flustered when you told me the one where Mr. Wright was yelling at you guys at practice or something like that because I heard it before. What’s the story behind calling Mr. Wright Mr. P btw? How bad would you consider the funding for band? I mean you guys do fundraisers and stuff, but it's definitely not enough. I remember that day you asked me about the new additions to the caf.
  8. Is there any special reason you chose trumpet? Do you play any other instruments? And don't say skin flute this time because no one wants to hear you play that. I'm getting a piano soon. I'd really like to learn guitar and violin as well. What other instruments do you want to learn to play in the future if any?
  9. Also, do you know Jonas Garcia (he’s in band)? He sits behind me in English. I bursted out laughing
