I just don't see how talking about someones gender identity, which theyve likely been struggling with and dealing with a whole sorts of emotions about it for many years, is the same as being passionate about cars. I understand cars are important to you, but gender identity isnt just something that someone is passionate about, it's something they have to deal with and transitioning genders isn't just something you do because you want to, it's because it eases the feelings of gender dysphoria and whatnot. By completely invalidated that you arent just saying that their interest is dumb like they did about your interest with cars (which is still retarded of them to do to you imo), but you are invalidated their years of feelings and to me that just isnt the same at all.

I came into the server to share my excitement about what I saw today and tell people about it.
If this is what I'm gonna get, I just won't talk about anything at all.
They also invalidated my feelings towards cars, so there's no difference there.
Also, being passionate about cars also brings strong emotions.
It was their choice to do that. Getting through it is a struggle, but you should be able to do it yourself.

Im pretty sure they did expect that, but just not that. Something im extremely passionate about is bass guitar. Sometimes ty and others tease me abt it being a shit instrument and whatnot, and to be honest, it does hurt my feelings a little bit. I would think that your passion for cars is about equal to that. However, I don't think I would attack someone as a person because of that. I usually just tease ty back about something else that he enjoys. I don't think after being teased about that it ever crossed my mind to attack him as a person
