Clark needed to talk to someone. Only two people on Earth knew the
secret of his dual identity: his adoptive parents. He started to call them on
his phone, then changed his mind.
Why call when he could fly home in an instant to see them in person?
Seconds later, he was back on the Kents’ farm just outside Smallville. A
light snow was beginning to fall. Clark walked up the creaky porch steps of
the old wooden farmhouse and opened the front door. “Ma?” he called.
“Pa? I’m home!”
