Raiding History
Please give a summary of your previous guilds, the reason you are no longer in that guild, and your previous raid history. Please be detailed.
Aftermath (25) - Kel'Thuzad; joined at the end of April 2013 to try out raiding for the first time, got to 3/13H ToT with them and eventually left because attendance issues were slowing down progress to a halt

Divinity (10) - Kel'Thuzad; joined second raid group to try and push heroics, ended up 10/13H after raid leader (who leads both of their teams) decided to break it before 5.4 came out because half of the raid was alts from the main group and they didn't want to progress two separate groups at the same time.

Midnight Company (25) - Kel'Thuzad; tried to squeeze in with them a month and a half before 5.4 to help them kill Lei Shen and get the Cutting Edge for myself in my first tier, but raid leader's lack of discipline towards underperforming players prevented us from killing after 350 wipes, left after the week of normals at the start of 5.4

Demise (25) - Kel'Thuzad; joined after the first week of heroics in 5.4, got to 11/14H before raid leader Foogacity decided he couldn't keep trying to balance work and WoW and ended up calling it quits for good

Intent (25) - Thrall; got in just about four weeks ago now but wasn't able to raid for most of the time because of a screwy work schedule that has since smoothed out but I'm now being sat because I'm behind on gear and they're starting to extend lockouts, so I'm out in the cold until Garrosh is dead, haven't left yet but I'm thinking about it.
Who can vouch for you as a raider either in our guild or from your guild history?
No one currently in Duality other than a few LFRs with Dime

Explain your rotation, spec and stat priorities. The more in depth the answer is the better. This is your opportunity to show off your theorycrafting skills and knowledge of your class. Do you have any max level alts that you can play or have played - if so, please give a small description on their spec/class and rotation.
I'll explain destro because it's all I'm really playing at the moment:
Basic opener I use is Incinerate -> CoE (only if no one else is usually doing it) -> Immolate -> Incinerate x4 -> Chaos Bolt x2

In general I try to stay around 3-3.5 Embers and dump Chaos Bolts or shadowburns when I have trinket procs (centering around 7-10 stacks for Wushoolay's preferably

I'll throw down Rain of Fire for 3+ targets and sometimes during hero on single target

Current stat priority I'm using is Mastery -> Crit -> Haste, although some of my friends are saying crit is equal to haste, I haven't yet tried balancing them out.

If I ever get my hands on a 549 UVLS or a Black Blood of Y'shaarj in any form I'll try playing Demonology again as Mastery -> Haste -> Crit

How do you prepare for new encounters and what can we expect from you on PTR/Beta?
As of now mostly PTR testing, fatboss, and talking to guild members, but on the bleeding edge I'm sure I'd have to find a new way to research things, because things like fatboss guides and such won't exist when you're working on things.
Why should we consider you as an applicant and what do you bring to the table that competes with our current raiders?
Additionally, why did you choose to apply to Duality in particular?
I think I've grasped raiding very well in the whole 6.5 months I've been raiding and I'm still rapidly getting better as a player, after next week I'll be able to commit to all five days during progression (depending on how long progression takes) and four days of farm if we need it, and I think I put up pretty good numbers considering the gear deficit I have compared to a lot of warlocks

I chose Duality because my friend (Reminisce) mentioned he used to raid with you which got my interest, then I added Dime on realid and talked with him a few times about the guild and some other things.

My numbers aren't like top 10 warlocks in the world yet, but I'm working on getting there quickly and learning new things every week. I don't particularly like progressing slowly, I'd rather finish the tier as soon as possible and be able to gear at least a couple of characters before the next tier/expansion
Tell us a bit about yourself. How old are you and what do you do outside of World of Warcraft?
My name is Blaine, I'm currently 20 years old and in between high school and college, still trying to decide if I even want to go.

I just finished training for dealing table games (blackjack, 3/4 card poker, pai gow, etc.) at a casino near my house, and I'll be working there three nights a week (one of them will intersect with raid times but I should be able to take off a few Sundays in a row each time progression rolls around)
