Years spent pent up in her study, pouring over holy scripture and mending books, as well as dwelling in the looming halls of churches have laid their marks on young Cathline Willoughby. From inactivity and an overindulgence in food came a more soft, pleasantly plump physique. Wider hips than usual, befitting of a mother's, and a somewhat doughy belly were oft-bound underneath layers of dowdy browns - thick, comfortable robe, a cloak that hung on her shoulders, and a cowl that veiled her pale visage.
