The new Powerpuff Girls I think is receiving more hate than it should have. And why are some people hating this so badly? Because of memes and things that are/were popular. For example, in the episode 'Painbow', Bubbles makes a reference to 'yass', a saying that was popular a little while ago. Now, some people hate that they are using outdated memes, and some hate that they are using memes in general. Okay first off, it can take up to a year or two for an episode to be finished and aired. So by the time it airs, it may no longer be popular and just considered stupid. And secondly, you may not think the meme is funny and just stupid, but some people might find it funny. One more thing, I do find some of the videos making fun of the show funny. But maybe we should stop because this show's reviews just keep going down. And if they keep going down. We might not ever see the Powerpuff Girls again after the reboot ends. Overall, the show is just alright, but it needs more action and Mojo Jojo needs to be in the show more often.
The first eleven-minute episode finds Buttercup making a new group of friends, a series of Roller Derby girls who call themselves The Derbytantes. These feisty chicks are totally up Buttercup&#39;s alley, and she ends up spending more time with them than her own superhero sisters. Of course, this is the perfect opportunity for Princess Morbucks to step in and try to become part of the team.<br/><br/>There&#39;s a great gag in this episode where Princess Morbucks calls up a monster to attack Townsville with an Uber-like &quot;Monster App&quot; on her phone. It&#39;s pretty funny, although it feels like the producers trying to sneak in as many contemporary references into the episode as they can to make it relevant to today. But hasn&#39;t PPG always been that way? The first episode is a fun re-introduction to the girls, though, and proves that PPG will always be relevant.The Powerpuff Girls are as great as ever, with both episodes highlighting everything you loved about the classic show. Sure, I wish it were longer, and I miss the older voice cast, but if you loved the old show, chances are you&#39;ll love these new episodes as well.
