- clock - 10-100 microwatts, we're running at ~3.3 volts: 3-30 microamps
- accelerometer - 120 samples: 300 microamps, standby (not enabled): 2-10 microamps
- thermal - 6 microamps (typical)
- buck-boost doesn't seem to turn off, but it should really only losses when driving the led.
- atmega168pa - 150 microamps at 1MHz, 15 microamps at 32 khz (including on-board oscillator) - .1 microamps powered down. There are some sleep modes available, but they only really matter in standby
- atmega168pa - 3 milliamps active supply current, 1mA idle supply current
- http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc2545.pdf: page 321 has some notes on adjusting power consumption by disabling io subsystems
- ----------------------------------------
- current voltage regulator losses: 5.4 mA used total, 2.64 milliamps consumed by components with a loss of 2.75 milliamps
- Formula for power loss in the voltage regulator: (4.2 - 3.3) * .500 + (4.2*.09)
- .5 milliamps consumed by other components would cause a power loss of .83 milliamps, with 1.33 milliamps used
- 1 milliamp consumed, loss of 1.27 milliamps, 2.27 milliamps used
- 2 milliamps consumed, loss of 2.178, 4.178 milliamps used
- 3 milliamps consumed, loss of 3.078, 6.078 milliamps used
