Chapter 51

After a few minutes of explanation, Prez-kun cleared his throat.

"*ahem* I understand, Nohara-san. What you mean to tell us is that your wallet was stolen by a student from another school, accompanied by a Buddhist monk? Is this correct?"

The speedster nodded his head in silence, unfitting for his personality and disturbingly so.

As he sat next to me on the council couch, I saw his fists balled up in a fit of silent rage as they rested on his lap.

His usually cheerful persona was replaced with a serious look, and the sheer expression he gave off frightened me a little bit. I was very concerned for him, but frightened nonetheless, for both his safety, and especially the safety of the people that caused this in the first place.

"Naruhodou. Our job here, as you may already know, is to help solve the problems of our victims. I shall look into this matter, and I promise justice will be served.", Prez-kun says, face as stoic as Tomboy-Kun's.

Shy-kun, having somewhat calmed down from his emotions overwhelming him, sat across from me, next to Cringe-kun, who was playing with the cage where Taikyuu was flapping his wings excitedly

Shy-kun speaks up.

"If I may ask, where did you see these people? S-Sorry, I don't mean to speak out of turn...", he says, doing his best to face Tomboy-kun while ignoring me in his field of vision. He didn't want to start becoming overwhelmed again.

"Ooooh! Right. I knew I forgot to say something. I saw them near the Arcade.", Tomboy-kun says, scratching his red hair with an embarrassed look on his face, chuckling.

He can switch gears quick for someone that was robbed.

"That's enough information for now. We'll begin investigating effectively tomorrow after school...", Prez-kun says, looking out the window, "...as I am afraid it is far too late to start today."

He turns back around, looking at Tomboy-kun.

"Are you alright with that?"

Tomboy-kun says with a grin, "Why wouldn't I be? Thanks. Oh, and what'll I owe you after this?"

"Payment will be discussed once your wallet is retrieved. In the meantime, nothing will be asked in return. Is that all?", Prez-kun responds, pushing up his glasses.

"Hai.", he responds.

"This session is dismissed.", Prez-kun says.

Moments later, as I walk towards the school gates, a certain voice calls after me.

"Hey."

I turn around, and it was Tomboy-kun.

"Yo.", I respond casually.

"We need to talk.", he responds.
