  1. [19:11] Tali Dianara says, "Huh.."
  2. [19:23] The eerie atmosphere could almost be deafening in its nature. For it was thriving on the violent intent, on the Resonance that echoed with the beast that pulsed in its march through the lands. Here, while it met upon the man that would traverse the lands, unfortunately for him, he was confronted by the force far too malicious to be reasoned with - for the moment that there was admittance to belonging to the Osrona..
  3.
  4. There was no going back.
  5.
  6. "No. I am more. Than divine wolf."
  7.
  8. "I am the punishment. For Osrona's. Crimes."
  9.
  10. Even here and now, the suffocating presence of energy that thrived around the creature was far too much to ignore; here, it could almost practically beam with the intent of violence. And yet, for as much as Chem Borg was cornered in this darkened atmosphere, the putrid resonance that surrounded the Midnight Animal..
  11.
  12. He was not alone in this.
  13. For Tali was ambushed as well.
  14.
  15. The ethereal chains intended to hold her down- unfortunately for the woman, the monster in the mask had managed to creep up close enough to hold her back, up until the point of her being unable to escape - even if temporarily. Here, they're faced with the masked creature together.
  16.
  17. "Come, come.."
  18.
  19. "Trespassers from Osrona. Have to pay. For their transgressions."
  20.
  21. It is perhaps here that they're given a chance to either think of a plan, or flee, or perhaps intend to combat the monster together; and yet, with each, every passing second..
  22.
  23. It nears.
  24. Closer and closer.
  25. (Impulse)
  26.
  27.
  28. [19:29] Chem can already see he is in deep dire trouble as there seems to be no reasoning with the creature.
  29.
  30. He looks back noticing that the girl he was speaking with earlier was also being targeted, he would gulp.
  31.
  32. Seems there was no other choice but to confront the atrocity and pray that they got out alive.
  33.
  34. Either way if he were to make it out of this it would be the last time Chem travelled alone.
  35.
  36. He desperately looks to Tali for an idea.
  37. (Chem Borg)
  38.
  39.
  40. [19:46] During her way back. She was contronted by a malicious being. One that malevolent feelings would echo across the land. Her eyes would land upon the being of darkness, demonic influences would slowly draw fear from the woman.
  41.
  42. Her eyes filled with a paramount of helplessness. A mere being that was very much so responsible for the attacks that have been occurring. It was him, the unknown target that has caused so much trouble for the order and the city watch.
  43.
  44. His occultic energies having the strength to easily snuff out the air that had once remained. Her heart was beating unbearably as she saw the entitiy draw closer towards both of them. Especially that of Chem Borg.
  45. He too was afraid...
  46.
  47. However, the look that Chem borg had given the young woman would allow her to remember. Remember a promise that she had given task herself. And it was to protect the lives that had resided here in Osrona. And she wasn't going to break it.
  48.
  49. A fire within her would light up. She needed to be the light that resided within the darkness, and burn brightly when that same darkness would overshadow its surroundings.
  50.
  51. And here lies an wordless ultimatum for the young woman. And so she chose valiantly.
  52.
  53. "Chem, Listen Carefully and move now. I will keep you alive, and you alert both the city watch and the Order of what is happening here. I will take responsibility for this."
  54.
  55. And as she inched closer towards the being. Evolutionary awakenings would slowly develop, Scales were formed, As Teeth and fangs would also protrude from her body. Lastly, A new set of wings would brandish her body as she grew more stressed.
  56.
  57. She was afraid most definitely, but she had to act for the preservation of others regardless of the situation.
  58.
  59.
  60. (Tali Dianara)
  61.
  62.
  63. [19:52] One would bear the message.
  64. Another intends to stay behind.
  65.
  66. Where Tali seems to order Chem to back away and ensure that he gets to back away, the azure orbs sparkle up within the holes of its mask, almost curious to see what would unfold - and how exactly they plan to deal with the creature. With the bask of the malevolent resonance that surrounded the area, it was rather easy to tell a single fact..
  67.
  68. It won't leave without blood.
  69.
  70. "You are. Brave Osronan."
  71.
  72. "For protecting another."
  73.
  74. "But ultimately. It is."
  75.
  76. "Useless."
  77.
  78. As much as the Drakanite intended to stand in its way, the creature immediately lunged towards Chem Borg, the infusion upon its strikes with the pure Energy that intended to deliver impactful, dangerous strike that could potentially disable him entirely- one fuelled by the thriving emotion of the moment, one which intended to incapacitate the man.
  79.
  80. "Die."
  81.
  82. It would be all for naught if the two of them perish. It is a desperate situation, one in which the two of them are faced with the creature that actively hunted groups of magi - and had butchered all of them.
  83.
  84. Would they persevere? Would they make it through?
  85. Only fate could unveil that.
  86. (Impulse)
  87.
  88.
  89. [20:11] The Occultic beast wouldn't hesitate to make it Chem his primary target. It was certainly more than apparent to see the words of the young woman being heavily ignored regardless of the situation. However, It wasn't going to play out the way the beast wanted to.
  90.
  91. A large clashing sound would echo as the pure energy from the blast would be heard. An attack that was strong enough to surround the two with debris and dust. covering them completely after the impact was made, and the destructive power was revealed by the attacker.
  92.
  93. However, the dust would slowly clear up. As the blow would be absorbed by none other than Tali herself. As her arm was raised in order to block the devastating blow, her arms covered top to bottom in scales. it would be her saving grace.
  94.
  95. In return a blast of fire would be aimed towards the man, as she would counter back with attacks of her own. She made a clear promise, and once she made it she wasn't the type to go back on it.Hopefully this would buy the male enough time to survive and swiftly do what he was told.
  96.
  97. "Alright Chem! This is your chance to go and do as I asked you! I told you that I will fight here in your stead alright! I just need you to make sure to tell them about the attack that had occurred within the hunting grounds. Please!"
  98.
  99. She screamed. Brave was certainly the word, but in all honesty she was very afraid of what could happen. She would push herself to go further, and fight onwards. As a member of the city watch, this was more than her responsibility...
  100. (Tali Dianara)
  101.
  102.
  103. [20:18] So close to drag Chem Borg down..
  104. And yet, intercepted by this drakanite woman.
  105.
  106. The moment that the creature is stopped, the emerald orbs shift towards her, almost as if intending on her letting it go- yet, no matter how much it would try to reach out the man, it would seem to be futile effort that would be foiled despite its best attempts. A low grumble emits from underneath the mask, and at last, the sights turn towards the woman after she deflects the blow on the behalf of a man.
  107.
  108. "You stand."
  109.
  110. "In the way."
  111.
  112. The atmosphere seems to darken a little. For when it taps into the local Resonance to create Synergy into its own.. the Energy of surroundings seems to be gathered, so much so that its blows could become a formidable force to reckon with; here, the azure orbs in its mask only glimmer further, echoing with intent of violence and malice.
  113.
  114. "You do not stand. In my way."
  115.
  116. "Without paying in blood."
  117.
  118. She bought time for Chem Borg- the precious time that would allow him to escape from the Midnight Animal. With the couple of azure orbs flickering, and the frame of the Impulse energized thoroughly with the enigmatic, raw ethereal force.. it becomes rather clear that she's in for the world of hurt.
  119.
  120. She would stand a defender. She would suffer.
  121. So that others wouldn't have.
  122.
  123. A heroic attempt, no doubt.. but now, came the worst part - actually dealing with the creature. Now, she was proverbially cornered by it, with nowhere to run.
  124.
  125. Now, she had to face it head on.
  126. (Impulse)
  127.
  128.
  129. [20:28] ** Impulse has inflicted an injury upon Tali Dianara. ("Azure Flames", "Tali was engulfed in Azure Flames in her fight against Impulse; it spread across her mana circuits like wildfire, blocking out some of her potency as magi and making any magic a hurtful process.", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  130. [20:38] Tali Dianara says, "All good."
  131. [20:39] The beast was unrelenting. So much so that it could prove to be rather troublesome to keep up, and yet.. its sights were often set upon escaping Chem Borg, one that was fleeing the scenery as Tali held it back - the intent was to stop the man from reaching out for help, but..
  132.
  133. The drakanite did not allow that.
  134.
  135. "Foolish one."
  136.
  137. "You will pay. For your insolence."
  138.
  139. "For daring. To stop me."
  140.
  141. Ruthless, cruel. Each second that the drakanite managed to persevere and sustain herself against the blows, she could feel the mana being steadily blocked out of her body, the resonance of the entire place working against her - as if the world wanted her to lose. Whatever strange magics were bestowed upon her.. it was rather clear.
  142.
  143. They didn't lie about the Midnight Animal.
  144. It's scary during midnight.
  145.
  146. So much that she wasstruck with brutal blows time and time again; the crimson was already splattered across the grounds, and while she struck at the mask, at the body, at appendages.. it drew relatively small amounts of blood from the Impulse - while she, in comparison, suffered a lot.
  147.
  148. She suffered.
  149. So that another could escape.
  150.
  151. "Do not."
  152.
  153. "Stand."
  154.
  155. "In my way."
  156.
  157. The way that she persevered could be admirable, for someone this young. But.. despite the necessary time that she managed to buy for Chem Borg, the multitude of blows that came with azure flames would eventually overwhelm her - and here, when the impact upon her flesh makes another contact..
  158.
  159. She's set ablaze across her mana circuits.
  160.
  161. It is rage, brutal- for where it burns her, it doesn't produce heat; but instead, it feels like she was set on fire from inside out. Her mana circuits steadily burning with immense damage to them, something that even the greatest of magi could suffer badly against. But..
  162.
  163. A single blow struck.
  164. One that intended to knock her back and away.
  165.
  166. The beast had intended to pursue Chem Borg- but by the time it was done with the drakanite, it was far too late. The shimmering orbs glared once at the woman on the ground - and yet, it knew that the backup was on the way, for he intended to call for help.
  167.
  168. "You will. Suffer for this."
  169.
  170. "You took. My prey. From me."
  171.
  172. "I will always. Have it."
  173.
  174. "And Osrona. Will pay. For everything."
  175.
  176. Such words of malice were spoken, but.. the beast did not linger. Knowing full well that squadrons of Knights or Watch could be on their way, already it intended to flee - far into the forests, leaving wounded Tali alone.
  177.
  178. The hunt, for now, is over.
  179. (Impulse)
  180.
  181.
  182. [20:53] Brutal. A fear that was more than dangerous comes to mind. The fight was absolutely one-sided, and the steaks were definitely high. This was not a simple man she was fighting. No, it was more comparable to that of a beast of darkness.
  183.
  184. The drakkanite would continue to fight onwards, with blazing flames and destructive waves of fire attempt to strike down the beast. But to no avail, her flames were far to weak to even force the magi to succumb to the fight.
  185.
  186. Each blow would force her to continue fighting once more. Passion to preserve life ever erupting within her. It was quite bleak match against the masked enemy. But it won't be the last... She could count on it... He will attack again..
  187.
  188. As the fight would draw to a close, Azure flames would strike her body. And swiftly overwhelm her. It wasn't a pretty sight, as the first degree burns would overwhelm her body. Her arms and torso riddle with cuts and burns.
  189.
  190. But even on the ground she would grit her teeth.. Even when she was downed on the ground with little to no remains of strength present within her... She would don the being with a glare of daggers. A glare that revealed promise...
  191.
  192. "I won't...I won't allow you to steal or ruin anymore... Mark my words you beast... I won't let...Orsona….Fa-."
  193.
  194. her head would slump towards the ground. Being incapacitated due to both the pain and shock of the injuries. One that would finally force her to cave in. It was a bleak moment for the young woman, and she may have lost the battle.
  195.
  196. But she has certainly won the war. And by the skin of her teeth as well.
  197.
  198. (Tali Dianara)
  199.
  200.
  201. [20:59] He could hear it... noise within the forests, likely due to some sort of battle taking place. The forests were of course teeming with enemies of Osrona. Teeth grit as the Knight began to make his move over to the area where smoke erupted from, though it appeared he was too late.
  202.
  203. Once there, sienna eyes scanned around to see the charred trees and wildlife, certainly the remnants of a battle and further inspection revealed a young lady to be laying there.
  204.
  205. Within a flash, Kieran vanished from where he stood to re-appear just before the fallen Tali, a look of worry plastered over his features.
  206.
  207. "I-I'm late... are you alright?!
  208.
  209. What happened here-- can you stand?" He questioned, hoping to answers to the many questions which plagued his mind, if the Dianara were conscious, that is.
  210. (Kieran)
  211.
  212.
  213. [21:14] Grella says, "Greetings, Ser Kieran."
  214. [21:14] Grella asks, "Have you seen a redhaired Kitsune called 'Nikky' around here, perhaps?"
  215. [21:14] The woman's aftermath of the fight would prove to be quite threatening. Scars and bruises riddled across her body. She remained on the ground, not reacting towards the male's consistent requests due her incapacitated state.
  216.
  217. Her eyes remained closed. And burn scars were seen to have been more apparent within her arms... This was another horrible feeling of loss that developed within her. However, a sign of life was certainly noticeable if the knight payed attention.
  218.
  219. Slowly, heavy breathing would be seen due to both her torso and lungs extending and contracting slowly. She was certainly more than alive but she needed medical attention, and soon too. The knight was certainly to late to prevent the fight...
  220.
  221. But he was just in time to get the young woman some medical attention, and drastically improve her chances of survival. The fight was brutal, and the mere chance that she was even alive to tell the tale against the beast was a sign of good fortune itself..
  222.
  223. The destruction of the land of the battle was ferocious and fearfull, with both lingering amber and azure ashes remaining within the area itself.. It was telling of how brutal the battle was itself... Nonetheless..
  224.
  225. She fought it. And lived to tell the tale.
  226. (Tali Dianara)
