Adventure Time

You just sit there, staring at the back of the guard's head, wondering if you should say something. Deciding that's probably best, you call out to the guard, with a 90% chance of success.

The guard hears you and jumps up out of his seat right away,

"Ah, you're finally awake then." he says, before he walks off out of sight.

A few minutes later, a group of armed men come marching down the corridor. They slam open your cell door and drag you out. After turning a few corners, you see the light of day.

You are in a hue, stone chasm. There is a flow of lava pouring in from the top of one of the walls, filling up what looks like a canal at the bottom of the ravine. All sorts of industrial machines line the edge of this canal, clearly using its heat for power.

The contrast of the freezing wind gushing through the pit mixed with the intense heat given off by the lava, made for an interesting sensation. But it is not one that you could thoroughly appreciate, as you are being dragged up the various staircases lining the edge of the deep gorge.

You eventually reach the surface, and are blinded by the reflection of the sun on the snow. Clearly you've been moved far away from where you were last conscious.

The men drag you round the end of the lengthy chasm, and only then do you realise quite how deep it really is, a good 80 or so meters. They throw you to your knees, right on the lip of the pit, with you facing the deathly fall.

You remain silent for a few minutes, before finally deciding you should say something, but as you open your mouth, one of the men taps you on the shoulder. You realise speaking right now probably isn't the best idea.

On the directly opposite side of the pit from you, you can see a large building dug in to a snow covered mountain. Watching the doorway of that building, you notice a small group of men walking out of it. One dressed in flashy ceremonial robes, while the other two are both clad in chainmail.

They slowly make their way around the walkways, eventually coming to a stop right behind you.

After ordering you to rise and turn to face him, the man speaks.

"You were caught conversing with our enemy, Sn0wtorch, yet our records show that you owe no allegiance to a nation involved in this war. Explain yourself."
