[10:06] Nicholas Philly: so we towed his SUV December 14th, it's been sitting in the shop since... he's apparently been driving a copy of the vehicle around sim since a week after we towed it... and apparently NPC'd picking it up from us
[10:07] Nicholas Philly: he literally just came in the shop and deleted it as I was IM'ing you
[10:07] Cheree Shippe: ...no shit?  Ok, that isn't cool on his part.
[10:07] Nicholas Philly: now I'm not going to make an issue of this case at all... just using it as an example
[10:07] Nicholas Philly: well kind of our fault too
[10:07] Nicholas Philly: when we towed it we were not keeping good records
[10:08] Nicholas Philly: we are now, so going forward how will this be handled if someone just leaves a vehicle here and drives a copy... i.e. Gunnys pickup sitting in the back lot that we impounded from the PD
[10:08] Nicholas Philly: if he shows up and rezes a new one how should that be handled
[10:08] Cheree Shippe: Well, what we can do is chalk it up on both sides and I can send a notice letting people know if they get towed they need to work things out with you guys, they can check with the PD if they got impounded and then they need to deal with the tow company like in RL
[10:09] Cheree Shippe: If that happens, then just let me/traci/brooke/lem/ken know
[10:09] Nicholas Philly: yeah we are requiring impounds to get an IC release from PD
[10:09] Cheree Shippe: We'll address it with him and tell him he has to work with you guys.
[10:10] Cheree Shippe: As long as records are being kept we should be kosher with it all

[10:11] Nicholas Philly: like the K9 Unit Traci brought in, is in the system as an ongoing rp with a work order and a description of damage and what needs to be done to it
