I. Playing with /hg/:
   The general will host many game nights and events. These will usually be posted on the thread. If you want to host yourself, make sure to state your platform and Gamertag, as well as to specify what content you plan on hosting (matchmaking, custom games, campaign, achievement hunting, etc.)

II. Halo 3 Custom Game and Map Files:
    Use https://forge.halocrea.com to search for custom games and maps. It will tell you which fileshares to download them off of.

III. Discord, Steam Group, and Twitter:
     The steam group for /hg/ is https://steamcommunity.com/groups/VGHaloGeneral
     The official /hg/ twitter page is https://twitter.com/halo_general
     There are multiple discords set up in the name of /hg/. The general consensus is that discord discussion takes conversation away from the thread. Therefore they are frowned upon. If you want to be involved in the /hg/ community and know who to play with, message "THE ONE BIG RED" via Xbox messenger. This can be done on console, PC, or mobile.
