Personality: Remarkably intelligent; she has an IQ of 147. Piper loves to read and is awesome at math and chemistry, and she basically excels in all academic fields, though she's really only interested in STEM, writing, and music. She's pretty much a genius but likes to keep to herself or people try to take advantage of her. Everyone knows her as the smart girl but no one really knows who she is. Despite her seemingly shy exterior, Piper is actually rather strong and can stand up for herself. She's also pretty sarcastic, but only when she talks, which isn't often. She's a really hard worker and has a strong work ethic. However, she's too work-oriented, and she gets caught up in work for days at a time, often forgetting about her own basic needs, and only her friends and brother can break her out of her work. She really has iron concentration. Anyway, Piper's honestly seen more as a computer than a human, and it's easy to see why. She's straightforward and blunt and has little sensitivity towards others, especially if she doesn't like them. She'll try to be sensitive with the people she cares about though. Piper can also be kind of condescending at times. Because she knows a lot of stuff, if someone doesn't know it, she'll be like "oh hey, didn't you know that?" but she doesn't mean for it to come out that way. Because she's known it for a long time, she kinda expects others to know it as well. On the brighter side, Piper's pretty creative and resourceful and has a lot of handmade crafts in her room. She likes to create things, whether it's a new story or a melody or a piece of origami. She's rather talented in all honesty, and is very well-rounded. She's really pretty awkward though in social situations.

Background: Piper's parents were always working and had little time for the kids. She had twin older brothers, James and Michael, who both acted as her parents, basically. Their parents divorced when Piper was ten and the twins were thirteen, and so the parents got joint custody of the three. The parents still didn't care for the kids much, and both of them eventually remarried. The dad moved to England while their mom stayed in New York. Piper never really liked the UK that much, because she liked the free-ness of New York. There, it was always busy, and she could always stay occupied with something or the other. Now don't get me wrong; she's not social, but she likes staying occupied. James felt the same way, but since Michael was always more proper kid, he liked the UK more. He studies there at Oxford, while James is in University of Michigan for engineering. Piper's now in college, and she double majors in writing and chemistry. She originally considered minoring in music but decided against it. She still always loved music and has been able to play piano and violin since she was eleven and twelve, respectively, and is a reasonably good dancer. She has an average voice.

Trivia:
- actually pretty learned in hapkido and wushu thanks to James who went through the martial arts phase that all boys seem to go through
- goes to Seoul National University because she wanted to improve her Korean (her dad's Korean, and she was already fluent in Mandarin)
- James is dating one of Piper's best friends and Michael is still single. lmfao
- the girl loves fruit with a passion. Like. All fruit except grapefruit because that stuff's gross.
- has perfect pitch and synesthesia (she relates music notes to colors; for example if she hears the note C her brain links it to the color blue)
- because of her synesthesia she can create "art" based on the music she plays/listens to??? like it's hard to explain; it's not necessarily painting but more of a mishmash of pretty colors blended together that she "hears" when she plays/listens to music
- likes to play tennis but mostly for fun bc she isn't great at it
- is a feminist and really hates racist/sexist jokes
- volunteers at a nearby public library
- works at a jewelry shop, a music store, and runs a part time tutoring service with her best friend (her name's Lucia; they both came from the US to SNU so they got close that way)
