- [14:43:50] Roaming around in the Trystle Caves this Ookami would find himself increasingly nearing Cinderfall. After walking around for quite some time Vale ended up standing just a few feet from a stranger. This stranger had appeared to be covered from head to toe in armor.
- Curious about this Vale would break from his journey to talk to Kariya. "Hey, you any strong?" he'd ask forgoing any sort of introduction. Of course any person who wore armor or wielded a weapon was pretty much an open invitation for a fight with this battle hungry Ookami.
- However Vale wasn't exactly sold on Kariya's strength just yet. After all in his opinion someone truly strong wouldn't have to resort to some armor to protect themself or a weapon in order to fight.
- (Vale)
- [14:50:40] With a gaze upon his shoulder, the small Drakanite would stand chill as he sees the ookami approaching, he was near cinderfall, just like he said he would be, ready to return to the city after years away from it.
- Slowly lending his right hand to his helmet, he would take it off slowly, turning his attention fully to the ookami, taking a deep breath, the female like would just stay in silecen for some seconds before saying.
- -I wouldn't say that i am strong, i am still in training, you know, training my lightning magic and stuff, i need to improve my speed. Well, all of us are constantly in training you know... i greet you, my name is Kariya. Kariya Aíma.
- He'd say with a bow showing respect for the stranger, even that Kariya never saw or heard about him ever.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [14:54:56] Vale was off-put by Kariya's behaviour to say the least. Not only did this person not show complete confidence in their own skill but went so far as to bow before a person that he didn't know before. It was also strange to Vale how a lot of people who he had recently met were training with lightning magic.
- Since it was the magic he specialized in however he would come to the conclusion that it wasn't that strange that others sought after the power that Vale himself came to have mastery over. Looking upon Kariya, the Ookami's gaze was visibly condescending.
- "Save all that bowing stuff for someone who cares. Anyways show me just how strong you are right now." Vale only asked this of Kariya to see if he was worth having a fight with. However the Ookami already had his doubts.
- (Vale)
- [15:02:36] His helmet would drop as he releases it, lending the same hand that held it to his blade's handle slowly, unsheathing it and showing his Rune Cleaver to the Ookami, turning on his lightning aura while still with the heavy magical wieghts.
- The young Drakanite would relase them crouching and using his other hand.
- Puff, he was free, it was the first time he took the new wieghts he got after his training, looks like he will be able to test how fast he got after all that, he didn't know if he trained his mind well, but it might be good to know if he did by fighting this dude...
- -Well, are you a bandit or something? If not, then i think i would be happy at showing you my power, well, you don't need to tell me why you want to see it, i think i got it already...
- He would say resting the not sharp part of the blade at his shoulder, Kariya seemed to be a little bit excited to see if the Ookami was up to "helping" him at that.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [15:09:26] Vale chuckled slightly when Kariya asked him if he was a bandit. "So what if I am?" the Ookami would say taking a step forward. As he did so, his own aura of lightning would burts forth from his body. This aura looked wild and potent, even randomly bolting out short distances from Vale's body giving it a very dangerous look.
- "Hurry up and show me if you're not some coward." the Ookami would say in an attempt to further push Kariya into showing his strength. Wagging his tail back and forth slowly Vale's gaze narrowed to Kariya's blade,
- "Or would you prefer I crush that sword with my bare hands?"
- (Vale)
- [15:15:24] Would smile, just like he always does to everyone he meets, bandits or not, Kariya would just point his blade at him, before saying.
- -Well, if you are not, i can say that i would be happy showing you that i am not up to fighting random bandits now, you or they just bothers me a lot at the Sarab desert.
- He would say slashing the air with the Rune Cleaver with his lightning aura on, The drakanite noticed to move faster than before, it was good for him, atleast he could be sure that his training wasn't in vain...
- He would just use his lightning to improve his speed, to get close to the ookami and slashing it, he wasn't wanting to harm it in fact, atleast not now, he wanted to test how fast he got and how much he himself react to his own move speed.
- Kariya says nothing, standing after performing the attack, looks like he will have to fight to see if he is good to show his technique to his mentor, or if he will have to train more...
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [15:20:32] Seeing Kariya moving forward to slash Vale took it as something of a invitation to fight. "Finally I might have a good fight!" he'd excitedly think to himself channelling potent lightning around his hands. Slightly jumping backwards in an attempt to create space between the two the Ookami locked eyes with Kariya.
- While he certainly didn't look fierce by any means especially compared to what Vale was used to the Ookami was excited that he might have finally had the chance to get into an enjoyable fight after so long.
- Cracking his neck Vale would simply wait in silence for the perfect moment to strike. Of course Kariya was free to engage Vale first.
- (Vale)
- [15:28:12] It was amazing, atleast for him, Kariya was dashing faster than he could ever expect, have he underestimated himself? Or probably just overestimating his own enemy, well, that didn't matter.
- Kariya abusing his speed and lightning to try to create speed ilusions of himself, to confuse Vale's senses, in fact it did work for a second, he noticed that the Ookami wasn't as weak as he tought, it wasn't a normal bandit, and it was so good for him, Kariya would smile while dashing.
- Then he fount an opening, dashing with all his speed, the young would hit Vale's forehead with the blade's handle, using his teleport to go foward and step in front of him, the small Drakanite would kick him away. Yes, he avoided slashing him because he didn't want to kill or harm him too serious. Probably a mistake...?
- -Well, it seems you are strong i see. I told you my name, it would be rude for you not telling me yours.
- He would slash the air one last time and point the blade towards him once again, he wanted an answer.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [15:32:28] Vale had finally gotten the fight that he had been denied for so many years. Maybe his senses had been dulled after spending so long without having a fight with an equal but he didn't care right now. While he had matched most of Kariya's slashes with his own bare hands a few still managed to get past Vale's guard.
- After being knocked back the Ookami stood up, visibly changed from before. There was a wide grin on his face and he was starting to look more bestial in appearance even though there were no great outward changes. The lightning which had coated his hands began to glow even brighter and appeared to be even more potent than before.
- "The name's Vale, you're stronger than you let on." he'd say internally confused as to whether he felt cheated by his opponent not outwardly proclaiming their own strength or excited that he had finally gotten an equal opponent.
- (Vale)
- [15:41:52] Wasting no time Vale quickly teleported away in a bolt of lightning in order to get to a more open area of the caves with Kariya following in pursuit. The two would engage in a quick and flashy battle each exchanging blow for blow in mere seconds.
- Using his own innate speed which came from being an Ookami to his advantage Vale would end up outspeeding Kariya. Not only this but Vale wasn't kind enough to hold back his strength using his sharp claws to cut and scratch at Kariya's armor.
- Closing the distance Vale would deliver a powerful kick to Kariya's chest in order to sned him flying backwards and eventually hitting the floor. "Not half bad." he'd say still grinning.
- (Vale)
- [15:45:16] With strong stomp, the small Drakanite would rise his blade once again, he wouldn't say anything, now things were getting serious, he knows that he will have to think in a batter stragety to win that fight, and hbe wouldn't manage to do it by standing chill and allowing him to take the advantage.
- Kariya would use his speed as a way to get away from him, to think on a better plan, he wanted to find an opening, and would use his speed to escape and trying to hit him when he sees a good oportunity for it.
- He was smiling, that was funny, and he wouldn't hide his excitment.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [15:54:40] And in fact, it worked... Kariya would do the same thing as he did, going to a place on the cave that he would get the advantage... abusing his own speed and mastery over his lightning.
- Quickly, the Drakanite would get in a more closed area, where he planned to use the old tatic once again, but he knew the Ookami was already used to that, he wouldn't just dare to try using the same strategy he just recently used.
- After some time, the Drakanite would try to go even faster, to make fast 'images' even after he passed there, it would almost as if he was teleporting between different places while ilusions of speed were created.
- The Drakanite then, after finding an risky opening, dashed against his foe, holding his blade's handle stronger, he would just treat deal with the ookami as a threat. When close to hitting him, he would use his mastery over his lightning mastery to turn himself into a lightning bolt, going to the ookami's back, he would slash it.
- While mid slash, Kariya tried to slow his speed, to avoid cutting the flesh deeply or hurting him too much, but that of course, wouldn't be easy, he had to turn his own aura off, but he managed to slow down, slashing the Ookami, but not with the whole blade, only the tip in fact cutted him, yet it was bleeding, Kariya knew it was enough... not to kill him, he wouldn't want that... that fight was fun, and of course, he hopes the ookami don't get mad, he would want to repeat that fight in the future as many as possible.
- -Looks like you are no bandit...
- He would say resting the not sharp part of his blade on his shoulder once again, just like he did when turning his aura on.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [16:00:38] Once more Vale was bested by Kariya. However he wasn't mad, in fact he was quite happy that he was finally able to fight with someone that was capable of beating him once more. It was a refreshing experience after his many years of boring fights where he either won overwhelmingly or the opponent ran away.
- Standing up and wiping some of the dust off his pants the Ookami would reply with, "Took you long enough to figure that out." Vale saw no use in banditry or crowns. Looking at Kariya once more the Ookami would ask,
- "Since you're strong why do you need a weapon to fight?" He had never wrapped his head around the idea of why people relied so heavily on them in the first place. It was sort of like a sign of weakness to him.
- (Vale)
- [16:08:19] Kariya would allow a pure smile escape, after it, it didn't take much for him to start laughing, the worse part...? When he laughed, the wounds made by the ookami with his slashes opened.
- Kariya would fall to the floor in pain and happiness... after some time, he would just support his back near a stone wall, grabbing some bandages at a small bag he always carried aside his armor, it wasn't enough for both of them.
- After finishing wrapping the bandages, he would just cross his legs sitten, lending his right finger's tip to his lip after sheathing his blade he would stop thinking a little bit...
- -Well, i wouldn't say i took long... when i got kicked i figured it out. A-ah also... i think i like wielding my blade, it is strong, and it increases my speed, i also use this armor because of a friend you know... i'd reather not using it, but i promissed that i would, so i am doing it.
- He would say with another smile.
- (Kariya Aíma)
- [16:13:26] After hearing out Kariya's answer a confused expression appeared on Vale's face. However if Kariya simply used his blade because he liked using it who was Vale to object. Shurgging it off the Ookami began doing a few simple stretches in order to prep his body for travel.
- Since Kariya had taken the liberty to avoid making cuts as much as possible Vale was in a much better shape than the Drakanite. Being in countless intense and dangerous battles also helped to shape Vale's body into one that could withstand a great amount of punishment.
- "Well, time to go find me another opponent." He would say as he began making his way through the caverns. That was of course if Kariya didn't plan on stopping him.
- (Vale)
- [16:17:42] The Drakanite would get up, his helmet was far away... welp, he wouldn't just let it in there, it was part of the armor, part of the "tribute" for his fallen best friend and since Vale was going, it is time for him to leave as well.
- His arms were full of cuts but they weren't that wounded so it was fine for him, Kariya would stretch his body just like Vale before leaving.
- -Well, i hope i see you another day, Vale.
- (Kariya Aíma)
