Plunger

He tugged and yanked, but the powerful suction of the plunger held it firmly attached to his chest. The machine rumbled and puffed and Mickey felt an overwhelming tug inside his body, as if all his paint and ink were being dragged toward the plunger. He had to do something--fast!

Mickey gripped the plunger and used the leverage it gave him to lift himself off the ground. He slammed the machine with his feet. The plunger released with a loud *pop!* The force threw Mickey across the room and he crashed into something. Mickey shook his head to clear it. He was on his hands and knees and surrounded by shattered pieces of metal. He must have broken something on the machine, though he had no idea what.
