- [21:14] Katrin exclaims, "Gooood...evening? Yeah, evening. Francisca's!"
- [21:14] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Is it evening? Good to know."
- [21:14] Katrin comes a-barging in, rattling and rambling.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:14] Katrin asks, "Probably?"
- [21:15] Kalon shrugs.
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:15] Katrin says, "Kal! Kaaaaal."
- [21:15] Katrin says, "My bartending buddy."
- [21:15] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Hi, hi."
- [21:15] Katrin says, "My glass polishing guy."
- [21:15] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Yes. That is what I do."
- [21:15] Katrin asks, "My uh...Yeah, you get the idea. What's up?"
- [21:16] Kalon Ivanovich says, "My nose is broken."
- [21:16] Katrin hisses through her teeth, flinching.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:16] Katrin says, "Tough break."
- [21:16] Kalon shrugs, before motioning towards it. Yup, it was bent.
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:16] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Got kicked in the face."
- [21:17] The chronomantic vampire and harbinger could've established the deeper bonds of understanding there and then, had it not been for the swift thrust of tragedy.
- One whose flavor Edingel has begun to understand too well, and can only bitterly sympathize with. Without doing so much as turning towards Rajak instead, she blows another languid combustive phantasm from between her reddened lips, clicking her tongue twice and lamenting openly afterwards.
- "What time giveth, time taketh away."
- Her head shakes twice, and she limits herself to glancing over her shoulder, directing a vibrant and rubicund gaze towards Rajak in his moment of ire and zeal.
- She can make no guarantees, but an instrument, for the purpose of pushing back the expiration date, she would be this once.
- "Then, we strike.
- Invoke our ghouls and thralls, we're to orchestrate a backlash. She's to return to us - to you - as soon as dawn."
- Extermination may have been too farfetched, when you only had a bar's staff to count on. Yet, she could very well see the fibers of compromise bring them to rescue Rajak's protegee.
- Soft and languidly, the first Essharan vampire chimes back.
- "Count on us, brother."
- (Edingel Sinaldine)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:17] Katrin asks, "Did you just...did you just take it?"
- [21:17] Kalon Ivanovich exclaims, "Sadly!"
- [21:17] Katrin blinks. Wait. She casts a brief, nervous glance to her right.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:18] Kalon Ivanovich exclaims, "Don't worry about that!"
- [21:18] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Come, come."
- [21:18] Kalon Ivanovich asks, "Want some tea?"
- [21:18] Katrin says, "...Yep! Tea. Tea's cool."
- [21:18] Katrin elects to mind her own ****ing business, sliding over to the bar.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] Kalon struts on over towards the bar, setting down a cup of tea that he apparently had brewed in the backroom.
- The conversation going on to the right of him, is squinted at.
- That was a conversation for the backroom, not the front of the club.
- "So! What've you been up to?"
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] {Item} You picked up Garden Tea. Dropped by Kalon Ivanovich..
- [21:23] There are some of fiery dragon's blood that might take exception to the chatter. They might see it as a chance to be loud, boisterous, or do something rash.
- Those Drakan's are absolutely, positively not Katrin. She takes up the cup- careful to stick out her pinky- and takes a sip.
- "Aaah. I don't know what kinda' trick you got, but this is good stuff," she remarks. "Well! Lot of roaming around to sell my goods. Perfecting the craft. Proving the haters wrong."
- And boy, did she apparently have haters. Who'd have figured.
- "Actually managed to get a shop that's not in a hole! Real excited about it. What about you? What'd you do to earn a broken schnozz?"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:28] A sigh would escape from the man's lips, as he glances away from the conversation transpiring to the east of him, and back towards his current, and only customer.
- "Truly, and here I had assumed my tea was only mediocre at best." He'd shrug, before moving to take hold of a mug, which he of course, would begin to perpetually clean. When would he stop? Who knows.
- But it certainly wouldn't be anytime soon.
- "Oh? Make anything interesting? Or gain any large sum of coins for your work?" He'd inquire. "Oh, and yeah. F*** the haters."
- Nod. Nod.
- "Congratulations on acquiring a shop!" He exclaims, before continuing. "As for how my nose now finds itself bent at a ninety-degree angle?" Give, or take a few degrees. "We paid a visit to a rival club. Things went south, and their..."
- What word could he use to possibly describe the absolute unit of a man that had broken his nose?
- "Dragon, decided to kick me in the nose."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:28] Rajak slams a letter down onto the table in a fit of anger. The raw power behind this action shattering the legs which held the table up, causing it to come crashing down with great momentum until it hit the floor beneath with with a loud thud which reverberated throughout the restaurant, denting it slightly in the process, and causing the surrounding area to slightly quake.
- Luckily, Rajak still held onto his rationality, otherwise, had he not held back his anger - the whole restaurant might've come crashing down on them due to a monstrous display of strength.
- The letter that rested upon the table was signed by Ariel Cirque.
- "They want me to come to the Mire, and bring 'whoever I want'. Clearly it's a trap, and I'm not going to fall for it. It's safe to assume that Jaste's already dead." - he spoke as a massive amount of depraved energies were discharged; like a cannon firing away; essentially bursting forth from Rajak's very core, spreading outwards just like wildfire, yet again.
- "It seems like he's already beyond saving, Edingel." - he added. He spoke in a monotonous manner, as if nothing had happened. Was he trying to pretend to be calm, and collected? Was he trying to be his usual self?
- Well, if he was, the flames and depraved energies that coiled about his form violently told a completely different tale.
- "It seems like I'm only left with one option..." - his voice trailed off, his visage meanwhile contorting even further in a fit of rage.
- "Annihilate every single one of the denizen of the Mire, and anyone that dares to work and conspire with them."
- Rajak made his stand. It was war.
- (Rajak)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:28] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Ignore all of that."
- [21:28] Katrin asks, "Ignore all of what?"
- [21:29] Katrin says, "I'm just here. Enjoying this -really super GREAT- tea."
- [21:29] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Perfect."
- [21:30] Vanessa Sova says, "Whether he lives or dies won't be the point. If we can get him back then we will, if not, we'll take lives."
- [21:30] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Perhaps we should move to the backroom..."
- [21:32] Rajak says, "Yes-.. my lady."
- [21:32] Ryker pyr Docro says, "Mmmh, it's only logical to move against them. "
- [21:32] Rajak says, "I'm afraid the only thing we'll get back however, will be a corpse. A mutilated one, at that."
- [21:32] Katrin's learned the ways of those below the mountain- and ultimately, it wasn't that much different than Theria. That place had codes all its own, and boy did they sure as hell apply here; though she can feel just a bit of a sweat at her brow.
- "F*** the haters," she agrees with a stately nod.
- "You guys got rivals? Huh! If you want, I can try to snap your nose back. I'm not a doctor, but bones are totally like metal, right?" Totally.
- "...Wait. They had a dragon? In a club!? How did they do that!?"
- The Drakan has so, so many questions.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:34] "Indeed!"
- C'mon, who even likes haters to begin with? Nobody, that's who! Especially not this particular bartender.
- "Well, we had a rival. Their club may, or may not be rubble at this point." A swift nod of his head follows, before he'd motion for the Drakanite to follow him. "I'll explain in the backroom... And yes, you can try to snap my nose back into place."
- What could possibly go wrong?
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:36] While she might try to let it not show, Katrin appears absolutely relieved as he suggested they relocate. "Oh, yeah, sure, totally, I guess," she remarks in an attempt to make it sound off-handed. Then she pops up from the stool with a pep in her step.
- "Back rooms! Sounds real ritzy, like for the VIPs huh?"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:36] Katrin asks, "...Not super subtle, huh?"
- [21:36] Kalon Ivanovich says, "Not at all."
- [21:37] Katrin says, "You guys sure do things different than in the north. I'll give ya that."
- [21:40] An annoyed sigh escaped from his lips the very moment he entered the backroom of the club.
- "I'm going to yell at them later when I get the chance. The front room isn't a place to spout out plans, or whatever." That's what one of the backrooms were for! "And yeah, we normally charge people to come back here, but for obvious reason this is on the house."
- And here he had assumed his co-workers had more sense than that, but apparently not.
- Oh well.
- "And- For the record, he wasn't a dragon, though he did have a dragon tattoo on his back-" He was rambling. "But, he certainly fought like one, or well, it felt like he did. I've been hit by a lot of things in the past, none of them hurt quite like he did."
- A sagely nod of his head follows.
- "But uhh, yeah. Feel free to try, and snap my nose into place whenever you want." A pause. "Oh, and pick a seat. Doesn't matter which."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:44] Katrin slinks right on in behind him, which is an impressive feat. Slinking and being as tall as she is takes some serious god-damned finesse. "Hey, if you can get away with it? Yell on. No offense, but those guys don't strike me as the type to listen," she admits freely as she scans the backroom.
- "Heeeey. Pretty plush! And I thought out there was nice. It's a party in the front and an even fancier party in the back."
- She makes herself right at home without a second thought, plopping herself down in one of those gorgeous, velvety arm chairs.
- "So a dragon like guy. Not like Drakan dragon though?" Kay has to ask. "And yeah, sit down. I'll try to push it back to where it should go, but I bet it's going to hurt.
- I'm sure it'll be fiiiiiine."
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:49] "I doubt they'll listen, but I need to at least attempt it, right?"
- That was his thought process! Though given who he was dealing with, he fully expected it to be ignored. Which was fine! At least he tried.
- "But yeah, it's pretty nice back here." He'd state with a sort of half-nod, before making his way over towards one of the nearby seats, plopping himself down into it, before letting out a sigh of relief.
- In truth, he's needed to sit down since the moment he returned from that other club.
- "You'd understand if you saw him, or fought him for that matter. The man was smashed in the back by a door, and then suplexed onto some rubble, and he uhh…" As he recalls the rather recent memory, he couldn't help but shudder. "He cracked his neck, and shrugged it off."
- For a man not easily scared by things, that man? That man was horrifying.
- "Oh, and yeah. Feel free to snap it whenever. I'm sure it won't hurt too badly."
- Right?
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:54] "Right. I respect that. I mean, I don't got a dog in any of that out there, but I respect you sticking to your establishment. You got pride in it, and I like that," she says, nodding firmly and thumbing the side of her nose. She leans in, elbows on her knees, and listens to his tale.
- "...Whoa! A whole door? And just. Shrug, and he's good?"
- Katrin whistles her impressment.
- "Wish I could do something like that. I at least learned to stop getting my ass beat so much. Had to learn that real quick."
- "Alright, alright...C'mere. I'll be real gentle like. Hold still."
- She doesn't completely f*** it up, yet, as the Drakan pinches Kalon's nose and tries to slide it into place. It's certainly a process.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:59] "Oh! Thank you. I'll try not to waste your respect."
- A pause, as he let's loose a brief chuckle.
- "Yes, a whole door, and he just walks it off. If we hadn't destroyed the club during our fight, I'm fairly certain he would have kicked our asses-" Another pause. "Err, kicked them more than he already did. But hey! We made it out alright, and that's all that matters"
- A thumbs up would follow his rather brief statement, before he'd fall silent; bracing himself for the inevitable pain that was about to arrive. Surely it wouldn't hurt that bad?
- He was wrong, the moment his nose is pinched, his entire face scrunches up. Of course he doesn't try to pull away, or anything, but it's pretty clear he's not having a great time.
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:03] "You'd better. I don't just got handing that stuff out," she says, snickering and flashing a pointy-toothed smirk.
- "Yeah, sounds like you and your crew made it out lucky if a broken nose is all you got, huh?" Gods know she's seen worse scrapes herself. She wishes that a busted nose would've been all she'd gotten out of it.
- "Almost, almost...Juuust…"
- It's not perfect, but it's better than it was to start. A more presentable proboscis for the silver-eyed bartender.
- "There! Actually, if you want, I could maybe try to splint it, if you can stomach having it pushed at a little longer. And this club, you do what you set out to? Maybe knock 'em down a few pegs?"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:07] Their words would have normally elicited a smile from the man, but seeing as his nose was presently being readjusted, and he was in fact, in agony... Yeah, he forces a smile for a moment, before it immediately fades away.
- He'd responds to their words once this was all over, and he could actually speak.
- Which comes rather quickly! While it certainly wasn't perfect, at least it wasn't horrifically bent! So that's always a good thing.
- "Yeah, we were lucky. I think one of us suffered a concussion, another broke his hand, and... Yeah, I have no clue what happened to the other one." Oh well! "It could have been much, much worse."
- Mhm. Mhm.
- "Splint it? Yeah, sure. I can handle that." Could he? Well, there was only one way to find out. "And seeing as their club is currently rubble? Yeah, I say we did a pretty good job out there. I'm proud of my employees." His lips curl into a genuine smile, before he slowly shook his head, readying himself for what was next.
- "But yeah, start whenever. I should be fine."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:12] "Yeah, I've definitely seen worse. Saw a kid get his arm eaten once," she remarks, shuddering and shaking her head. She immediately distracts herself by rummaging through the pockets of her coal-dusted coat.
- "I got faith in ya, Kal. And it's nice you got people you can rely on. I hear all the time about how good work's hard to find these days."
- The artificer makes idle banter as she takes a lump of polished, silvery metal from her pocket. She turns to one side, doing something with it just out of sight, fidgeting, fumbling with it beyond view.
- As if by some kind of crafting...well, witchcraft, she turns back around with a little metal bracket shaped just so to go over the barman's nose.
- "One more time now, be over in a flash."
- It is not, in fact, over in a flash. It does take a minute, yet the splint slips over the bridge of Kalon's nose to keep the bone from shifting about too much as it heals.
- "There! Huh. Just like metal!"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:20] There was something he could comment about the whole kid getting his arm eaten off, but for a few reason he doesn't.
- "They're good workers, a little crazy, but I treasure each of them." They were all apart of his little dysfunctional family. It was a rather pleasant feeling.
- His lips part to say more, but he finds himself distracted by the sudden appearance of the rather silvery metal, but no sooner had it appeared, had it been obscured from his vision. Which if anything, made him more, and more curious.
- What was she doing with it?
- Yet, before he can figure that out, the metal was somehow turned into a little bracket. "How.." He starts to speak, but decides against it. Somethings were better left unanswered.
- The minute it takes to get the splint situated on his nose is absolute agony, but survives it! In fact, he takes it like a champ.
- Mostly.
- He does wince a few times during it, but other than that he's fine.
- "Good as new, right?"
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:24] "Crazy ain't always bad. Actually, I've found out I tend to get along with crazy more than anything else," she muses. Katrin catches the quizzical look, the start of a question, and grins.
- "Artificer secrets," is all the Drakan says.
- Then she leans back, forms a square frame to view him through with an L-shape made from each hand, and squints one eye shut to really get perspective about the barman and her applied handiwork.
- "Heeeey, yeah! Turned out better than I expected! That's great, since you're kinda' the face out there, huh? Hate to ruin those dashing good looks you got to bring in the coin."
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:30] "Crazy is a good thing! In most cases."
- Some craziness was certainly better than none, right? It usually kept things fresh, and entertaining! Though when she utters 'Artificer Secrets,' he can't help but frown.
- Albeit only for a few moment.
- "Hm?" Silver hues narrow at the 'picture frame' that Katrin had made with her hands. "Dashing good looks? That's a first." He states with a bit of a chuckle, as he flashes a wide, fanged grin for the 'photo.'
- "But, believe me. I appreciate your hard work. I owe you one... Again. I owe you two things now."
- The debt was piling up...
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:34] Crazy made things interesting. Crazy was needed to dream big and imagine, and for the ever integral creativity for her craft.
- "What, ain't that the point? Is that not how you make your money? Or is it just hospitality?" she asks, dropping the frame and kicking back in the chair with her arms folded behind her head. Kay flicks a golden gaze up and down the bartender.
- "Do you really? You did give me tea. And get me out of having to listen to a bunch of bigwigs talk about...murder? Genocide?" Which one was it? The line was blurry.
- "I won't stop you if you wanna owe me though."
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:41] With his nose actually fine now, or as fine as it could be, the man finds himself leaning back in his seat, as his hands moved to rest behind his head.
- "Y'know, I haven't actually sold any of the food I've made. It's not good enough yet... So perhaps you're right." He'd shrug! "Maybe my good looks are all I need."
- They weren't.
- "Well, yeah, but I also got to avoid hearing about that, and I get to avoid my shift, and hang out with a rather attractive woman. What more could I ask for?" He'd state, as he let loose another chuckle. "So I'd say I certainly owe you."
- A hand reaches into his bag, and procures...! A plate with a slice of pumpkin pie on in, which would be set on the table, and slid across for the Drakanite to take, should she choose to.
- "I wonder if they're still plotting out there."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:46] "Not good enough? Your tea's pretty good. I bet you make a mean meal too. Wouldn't mind helping. Y'know, taste testing. Quality control. Real important," she offers with complete innocence and absolutely no ulterior motive.
- Katrin kicks back even further, putting her feet up on the table. Then gives the barman a skeptical look.
- "Sure you didn't get a concussion there?"
- There's almost some kind of another follow up quip until Kalon offers up the pie. She leans forward again, eyes wide, and takes it up. Rather than some sort of further retort she instead chooses to shove pie in her piehole.
- "Y'fink?"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:54] "My pies are pretty alright, as are my sandwiches. I can't really speak for anything else."
- His riceballs were probably rather good as well, given how often he cooked them, but those were mostly for him to practice so he can improve his skill as a chef. Not so much for actual consumption.
- "A concussion? Why's that?"
- His head tilts to the side, as he squints at the woman for a few brief moments.
- "And yes, I'm fairly certain they're still plotting." THen again they could have departed to sleep, or do something else!
- Either one was fairly likely.
- "So... I think so. Yes."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:04] Katrin is content for a moment to gobble down the slab of pie like a starving woman. Which may not be so far from the truth. With her size, and all the work she no doubt does while roving all over the damned continent, she's bound to burn her fair share of calories.
- "Mmm. Dafgoo' pi'," she rumbles. The Drakan exhales appreciatively and there's a thin stream of smoke from her nostrils. Dragging the back of her sleeve across her face, she thinks for a moment.
- "Well. Either you're seeing things, or you got some real interesting standards."
- For a moment she sets aside the pie, reaches into her coat, and takes out a rusty metal clam-shell case. She snaps it open to reveal its contents, a few rows of hand rolled soothe cigarettes.
- "Want one? Only fair, for the pie."
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:04] Katrin says, "Unless you gotta get back to your shift, 'course."
- [23:11] Well, at least someone was enjoying his food! Kalon was far too critical of his own cooking, or anything he did for that matter, to actually enjoy it. But, so long as others found pleasure in it, that was good enough, right?
- Probably.
- "Good. I'm glad you're enjoying it."
- A brief smile is flashed, before he finds himself leaning further back in his chair, quietly humming to himself, before he finds his silver hues drifting back over towards Katrin.
- "Interesting standards? I guess." Shoulders roll into a shrug. "I like what I like, and that's all that matters to me."
- Nod. Nod.
- Though when the rusty clam-shell case, and it's contents are revealed, Kalon briefly averts his gaze, glancing over towards the door, before shrugging once more. "Eh, there are plenty of people to cover for me." With that, he'd extend his hand out, taking hold of one of the soothe reed cigarettes, placing it within his mouth, before mumbling.
- "Any chance ya' got a light?"
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:16] "Haven't had pie in a long, long while. Been mostly jerky. Tea, 'course. Sometimes soup." Kay was not one for frills or grandeur. Her meager means doesn't allow it, so by her standards the pie is as rich as it tastes.
- "Just remember. Quality control's important."
- There's a minute smirk as Kalon comments on his tastes, yet no comment. Instead she takes out one of the rolled cigarettes for herself and places it in her lips. The case closes with a sonorous snap and she tucks it back into her coat.
- "Pfft. Do I got a light," she repeats almost mockingly. Lean forward, Kay generates friction between one of her calloused thumbs and the rest of her fingers, generating a spark (with a bit of mana, naturally), that lights up the barman's cigarette.
- "Always got a light with artificer magic tricks."
- Technically fire magic. Same-same, but different.
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:25] "Well if you find yourself in need of something to eat besides tea, and jerky, you know who to seek out."
- Cooking was one of the few things he could do in his current condition. While his nose was broken, he still had another injury that he was doing his best to heal off.
- Not that it showed.
- "Very important." He'd agree, as his lips curl into a brief smirk. Then came a snap that caused a spark that light his sooth reed cigarettes, and with it the bartender would take a long drag from it, before inhaling a rather large cloud of smoke!
- Then... Then came the coughs.
- Lots, and lots of coughing. To the point that he's chugging some of his own tea to try, and stifle it.
- "It's been so long..." He'd mumble, as the rather violent coughing fit dies. "Since I last smoked. Though clearly it didn't show, right?" He says, clearly in jest.
- That fact was painfully obvious.
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:29] "Yeah, just gotta stroll in here and harass one of Achyon's finest bartender's apparently," she chuckles, taking a shallow drag and melting back into the velvety chair. This sure beat the sewer in terms of luxury.
- Katrin coughs too. Not because her lungs aren't accustomed to smoke, which as a smith with a very poorly ventilated shop she certainly is, but because she struggles for air to laugh.
- "Nnn...Nope. Not at all," she chokes out, wheezing.
- "What do you do when you're not bartending anyway? You can't be working here, like, all the time. Right?"
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:33] At least someone was able to laugh at his inability to handle smoking. Perhaps he'd be able to do so himself, if he wasn't foolish enough to try his hand at a second drag, and well-
- The second verse was the same as the first.
- He breaks out into another coughing fit. Which thankfully doesn't last nearly as long as the first one. Some progress had been made, so hurray for that?
- "Yup... Not at all.
- It was agony.
- "...Nope. I'm pretty much working here at all hours of the day. Well, when I'm not, I have a farm somewhere that I tend to. It's relaxing work."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:36] The Drakan smith is a charitable soul. Sometimes. Maybe. She is right now at least, as she leans forward to thump the barman on the back. Surely this will help and not at all make it worse.
- "...Really? But like. Are you passionate about it? Tending bar and all?"
- That was one of the few of the Fireblooded dogmas she could get behind. Everyone who was interesting, or worth the time of day, had something that drove them. At least best as she could figure.
- "Farming doesn't sound bad. Never been my thing, but I can get it being relaxing."
- (Katrin)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:36] * You have been awarded 3 Roleplay Points! *
- [23:41] The thump to the back forces out another cough, but after that? It's gone! So clearly she helped, right? Either that, or the coughing was already over.
- Who knows?
- Certainly not Kalon.
- "Kinda. I'd rather be doing a lot of other things right now, but I'm uhh…" For a few brief moments, he's silent. "Injured." That was probably the best way to explain it.
- "Can't do much while I wait for this wound to heal up. Unfortunately, it can't be treated. I just need to wait it off!" It'd be a few more months until he was in tip-top shape. "I'd rather be wandering around Esshar. Exploring."
- Normal things.
- "As for farming? I do it so that The Point has a constant stock of ingredients!" Someone had to do it. "It being relaxing is just an added benefit, I guess."
- (Kalon Ivanovich)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:46] She thumps, the coughs gone. As far as Kay's concerned, her job here as done as she slouches back, satisfied.
- "Yeah? Something tear you up out there? Don't tell me the Mire got ya too," she says with a frown as she puffs and lounges. "Lot to explore out there. I've seen lots of neat places while looking for materials and inspiration.
- Deserts. Places with beaches, some spooky, weird woods way out to the east."
- Freedom did have its benefits.
- "I hope you heal up soon though. Got to be better than being cooped. You ain't hurting too bad, are ya? And uh. What's The Point?"

- [23:52] Kalon swiftly shakes his head.
- "No, no. Not the mire." Though more than likely they would jump on him if given the chance! That is, if the conversation in the main room was to be taken seriously.
- The denizens of the mire did not like the people who ran this Club.
- "It's... Hard to explain, but I'll be fine." Nod. Nod. "Yeah? I'm still relatively new to Esshar, so I've only seen... A few of those places, and I haven't lingered in them for nearly as long as I may have liked."
- Perhaps he'd get the chance in the future.
- "Thank you!" A reassuring smile is flashed, before he pause. "Huh? Oh. The point. Riiiight. Well, the name of this place is Francesca's Point. Figured it's easier to just call it the point."

- [23:55] "Phew. Okay, good. Those guys'll take chunks out of you." Then again, lots of people will do that. Monsters or not. Go figure.
- "Suit yourself. Hey, maybe when you heal up, you can tag along when I go roving if you want. I don't tend to run into any trouble, really. Unless I go running my mouth. If I don't do that, usually everything turns out alright," she says with a wheezy little chuckle.
- "...Huh! I just thought it was called Francesca's. Good to know."
- Had it been on a sign somewhere? Can she read? Mysteries abound.
- "You almost make it sound like you really do run the place with talk like that."
- (Katrin)
- [00:02] "Yeah, I'm sure they would."
- Oh well, he'd continue to avoid them for now. It was probably for the best! Right?
- "Oh? Yeah, I don't see why not. That sounds like a lovely time." Roaming around was usually better with someone else, right? "And even if we do get into trouble, I'm sure we'll be fine."
- Probably.
- What could possibly go wrong?
- "I'm it's owner in everything, but name." But he was fine with that.

- [00:10] "Definitely seen it. Wasn't pretty. That's not even counting the broken ribs Rams got," she says with a little shudder of her shoulders and a grimace. It's not enough to really harsh the nice buzz she's got going though.
- "Yeah, yeah. Sounds like a deal. I'm sure it'll be fine, 'tween the two of us."
- "Might as well be the owner. And 'sides. What's name's but like...y'know. Just noises and whatever."
- Katrin blinks and rubs at her eyes. Whoa. Yeah, she definitely needs to slow her roll. The Drakan clears her throat, takes the soothe cigarette from her lips, and snubs it out on the inside of her coat as she rises up.
- "Anyway. I don't know about you, but I'm beat. Thanks for the pie, the tea, and the handsome company."
- She blinks again, this time harder. Yep. Time to shut it down.

- [00:15] "Mhm."
- Maaaybe it was the reed he was smoking, or maybe the coughing fit that came after it, but Kalon was getting more, and more tired. It being pretty late probably helped.
- Which is probably why he finds himself yawning.
- "Yeah. I'm sure we'll be fine." A swift nod of his head follows, as he slowly rises to his feet. "I mean, you aren't wrong. They are just... Noises, and stuff."
- Another yawn comes, and this one lasts far longer than the previous one.
- Yup, he had maybe five more minutes before he collapsed on the floor.
- "Anytime." He'd briefly stretch his arms, before glancing at the door. "Let's doo this again sometime, yeah?" He'd ask, before waddling on out of the backroom, to go probably pass out in the employee lounge.
- Today had been a long day.
