It relies on being completely active to be able to click on golden cookies as they come, but also requires timing 'force the hand of fate' to achieve maximum bonuses. For comparison, I'm at 6 quad prestige where most of my cookies come from clicks. So this strategy requires clicking golden cookies therefore shimmering veil is useless, and so are any related upgrades like glittering edge. This guide truly is amazing
