The first and second place posters from each department will then be hung on display in Burke or AMIC.
  2.
  3. 1) The top 2 posters from each department will be approved for printing. A department’s top choice poster will be on display during the Fasenmyer Conference. The 2nd choice poster from each department will be held and then rotated into the queue for display on the walls in the Burke or AMIC Centers.
  4.
  5. 2) Use the attached template in PowerPoint to set up poster content. Your research may not flow the same way as the template, and that’s ok. The goal of the template is to be sure the posters that are judged have all of the information about the research project. Please use spell-check!! FASENMYER CONFERENCE 2019 must be prominent on the poster.
  6.
  7. 3) Email your poster to your advisor by Friday, April 12.
  8.
  9. 4) Departments forward the e-copy of their top two posters to Kelly Kemmet by Friday, April 19.
  10.
  11. 5) The advisors of the selected teams will communicate to the students the need to electronically submit their posters for printing to CMC by Monday, April 22. The posters need drying time.
  12.
  13. 6) The students are responsible for picking up their poster from CMC and delivering it to the School of Engineering by Thursday, April 25. Engineering staff will mount each department’s top poster and ensure it is on display at the Conference. The announcement of the first place winners will take place immediately after the keynote speaker is finished.
  14.
  15. 7) Mandatory submittal of project posters (ppt) for historical records is April 22; those teams that did not submit previously. All PowerPoint posters, whether chosen by the department or not, should be forwarded to Kelly Kemmet (klk48@psu.edu) in the Engineering office for safe record keeping.
