- -BUMBLEKAST MINI QUESTIONS-
- 1- Team Sonic Racing states that Dodon Pa is not simply a raccoon dog, but a Tanuki. I found this rather interesting cause that would mean Dodon Pa is the first game Sonic character to be actually be based on a folklore creature rather than the actual animal.
- This made me curious about the idea of other beings in Sonic's universe that could be based on mythological or folklore creatures and how could it be applied to things like games or the IDW comics. I also think back on other characters based on fantastical beings back in the Archie comics like Dulcy or some of her teammates back in the first reboot. What's your take on it? Do you feel that could be more of a common occurrence or do you feel that making a character based on a fantasy animal should come with a bigger level of importance to the plot?

- 2- We have seen a variety of different levels of technological advancement between territories on Sonic's Earth. From rural towns to general urban modern-day cities and sci-fi settlements of futuristic technology.
- I used to think the more advanced territories would probably be located on the bigger continents rather than in the small islands, possibly more inhabited by the Human side of the planet, but I also recall things like the Metropolis in Sonic Forces which I'm sure its implied the game is set within the islands where the animal people live, as well as not being something seemingly constructed by Eggman.
- As such I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Do you feel the talking animal side fits better with mostly just rural or small city environments while the humans have the more advanced tech? Or do you feel both sides work by having different levels of technology across their territories?

- 3- A multiversal force causes Mario and Sonic to switch places across time and space and, in order to return to their homes, must proceed through four of each other's adventures; Mario has to go through Adventure 1, 2, Heroes and Colors and Sonic has to go through Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy and Odyssey respectively.
- While I imagine both'd eventually be able to succeed, who do you think has it the roughest? and how do you imagine things'd go on each game, with the idea that both have access to their respective assortment of powers?
- ---------------------------------------------------
- 4- While on the topic of Mario, let's create another imaginary situation: Nintendo hires you to create a Super Mario Bros comic with boundless creative freedom and access to the cast of characters. However, there's a catch: You have to have at least 2 other factions of antagonists eparate from Bowser to be used when he is not the focus. You're allowed to go through any games in the franchise with two notable exceptions: Nothing from Super Mario RPG, as it's considered a joint ownership with Square, and nothing from the Paper Mario series, as it's currently considered an alternative universe to the mainline Mario universe.
- Who do you pick as your side villains and what would you like to do with them to separate them from Bowser?

- 5- From one Nintendo franchise to another, let's go with something a bit more obscure: Let's talk about ARMS! I'm not sure how much can you talk about the ARMS comic you were tasked to write that is currently still in release limbo for all eternity, but I feel it'd be still interesting to have a little thought exercise.
- I ask this cause I noticed how, despite the little fanbase and development care it has gotten, a shift between character focus has happened. While Spring Man used to be the de-facto "protagonist" of the franchise, it seems that due to popularity polls and wins in tournaments, the noodle-making kung fu lass Min-min has become more of a face of the franchise, to the point of the director of ARMS specifically requested Min-Min to be added into Smash Bros Ultimate as the ARMS fighter representative. If you were asked to rewrite the comic again would you stick with using Spring Man as the focus or do you feel Min-Min would prove to be a more interesting challenge?

- 6- The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog shows us that a lot of Sonic's friends seem to be big fans of Super Monkey Ball. As such, it made me wonder about the idea of other SEGA properties.
- What would Sonic and Friends' favorite SEGA titles be in a world where Sonic games do not exist?
- -------------------------------------------------------
- 7- Going from a old bumblekast question that lead to the funny idea of Super Sonic being so powerful in Frontiers due to the Koco's hope and excitement powering him up because it's been eons since they saw a good fight, are we to assume it's the Koco who actually sing the lyrics to the boss fights?
- This isn't really a serious question, just that the mental image of these adorable little rock creatures suddenly screaming heavy metal lyrics is hilarious and just wanted to share it with you.

- 8 - FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS QUESTION IF NEITHER OF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE YET.
- Sonic and Friends (Let's say Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Tangle and just for fun Shadow for some reason) have all gathered together at their local cinema to watch the brand new high-grossing movie based on the popular videogame (At least when this question was planned cause I'm pretty sure the FNAF movie has dethroned it): The Super Mario Bros movie!! At the same time, Eggman and his possie have arrived at the same cinema due to being convinced into a family outing because Sage really REALLY wanted to go see the latest all-ages animated movie.
- How does it go and what do each think of the movie afterwards?
- ------------------------------------------------------
- 9 - With the information we got from Frontiers, as well as the Divergence Knuckles short, are we good to assume that Sky Sanctuary was mostly a creation of the Ancients rather than the Echidnas? It'd certainly explain the weird ancient floating technology as well as to why the cyberspace gate was found there in the short. Which other areas of Angel Island do you feel in retrospect could have been designed by them and which do you feel were more of the Echidnas' design?
- -------------------------------------------------------
- 10 - The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog gave us manufactured trains, Riders gave us MeteoTech and Battle gave us manufacturing security bots for Rouge's club. Is this idea of using shell companies and services that act as seemingly benevolent the official explanation for how Eggman can get so much wealth and resources to create all his schemes?
- ------------------------------------------------------
- 11 - My girlfriend is a huge fan of the two Baten Kaitos games and she was very happy to hear you once made a post talking about you liking the games, as well as being somewhat inspired by a certain character's dual voice when coming up with The End's way of speaking. Any good memories you could share about playing those games? This question is mostly dedicated to her.
