- 4/1. There are too many memories to pick from. Holding me and talking me through our first dance, the warmth I felt hearing your vows, the way you looked at me when you first saw me getting my make up done in the hotel room. Iâm so excited for the rest of forever.
- 4/2. We were exhausted and didnât want to go to Barebottle for the reception, but ended up having a great time once we did. Anything with you is fun, even when weâre grumpy and tired.
- 4/4. Saying goodbye to the cats was hard, but driving down the coast and stopping to bar hop in âSLOâ (as you taught me) made it easier. The pickle fries were thin and crispy and I love that you also love them.
- 4/5. Youâre really good at Asteroids? Going to an arcade with you was kinda relaxing, a little less after you spent your tickets on solider toys with parachutes and a slide whistle, but still fun.
- 4/6. I know they kind of scared you but those Bird scooters were dope. They were dangerous af but zooming around town with you was amazing, especially when we stopped for frosty adult beverages. Iâm glad you convinced me to thread the needle under the bridge in our peddle boat (sorry we couldnât get the swan one). Rubbernecking in the boat to see why the cops were on the edge of the lake was nosey but fun also.
- 4/8. Going to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes with 25mph winds was maybe not our smartest move, but it was fun to see the dunes and get some free exfoliation. Staying at a hotel with you was fun too, even eating mediocre BBQ at the Iron Horses (aka tackiest restaurant ever)
- 4/9. Zion was beautiful, even if I had asthma and couldnât go on a hike. You said it was your favorite park we visited and I think I agree. I canât wait for the chance to take you to Bryce, youâll love it.
- 4/10. We finally got to try Hellâs Kitchen in Las Vegas. Iâm glad you convinced me to do the wine paring because it was delicious, but also got me toasty af. Turns out you donât like lobster even if Gordon Ramsey is the one cooking it.
- 4/11. I had an off day. I was sensitive and anxious and you took such good care of me. We found a virtual horse racing game at The Linx casino and I had so much fun watching Bebop a Looza lose over and over with you. You really do love me, even at my worst.
- 4/12. It was cold as balls in the tent at Wild Willyâs. I was scared my toes would fall off from frostbite so I stuck my feet under your butt to warm them up. Thanks for not waking up and moving them, and also for not farting on me.
- 4/14. You were sick today but werenât too grumpy which I appreciated. Your parents took us out to Chinese food which is always amazing, but you barely ate any and thatâs how I know youâre actually sick. Youâre a sweetheart and I wish you would listen to me when I tell you to take Advil.
- 8/14. Oops, I skipped four months. Thats okay though, I still have eight more to fill out for you and this was never going to be perfect knowing me. Things are going amazing. Weâve been busy, hardly have time to spend a whole day together, but when we sit in bed and talk about our days, things seem to finally slow down. Truly, there is nothing I value more than the moments we share with each other; When weâre both present, silly, and have such obviously deep care for each other, the world feels homey and gentle. Anything is manageable with you behind me.
- 8/15. I came home from work around 11:50PM and you were sound asleep. You put on your nose-anti-snore thing even though I wasnât home because you clearly love me. I brought you a bunch of small candies from work. Even playing League of Legends next to you while you sleep is the best part of my day. I love you.
- 8/17. I only got to see you this morning. You went to Molly and Nickâs family wedding reception in Sac and I had to work. But you still sent me pictures of your grandparents new cat, because you thought of me.
- 8/18. We fought a lot today. We saw Hamilton and we both were grumpy at different times of the day. You left the house angry and I went out after you, and we talked and hugged and went for a longer walk together. We worked it out and watched trash TV together when we got home, it made up for it.
- 8/21. We had to get a storage locker today because Lil cried when she was moving everything of Eâs out of her room, for no reason other than to upset herself. It was pretty bad, and it was a lot of stuff, but we managed to make her happy by getting a unit and moving some things sheâd been asking us to. We stopped to get in and out and I was having anxiety while we ate it at home so you put on some Failarmy to cheer me up (and it did). Youâre very thoughtful.
