  1. From within a darkened room, sat Christina; as she chewed at some double chocolate chip cookies. She had long since satisfied her hunger, but she ate regardless. Feeding instead her boredom and anxiety. She had been a social girl, yet, as she came to eat for the sake of eating, her friends were less keen to associate with her. Meaning that she would now come straight home and start eating, she knew it was unhealthy. Her parents warned her that it was unhealthy. So, she had also started to lock herself in her room as she ate. Thus, the once social child became lonely and empty; which only served to further fuel her greed for simple pleasures. For savouries and sweets that could fill in all the holes that had been created in Christina's life.
  2.
  3. Already, after three weeks of this, Christina's body had started to change. Adopting weight. Her cheeks had become slightly plump; gaining a slight pink to their colour, her legs weren't so stick thin anymore and were starting to take a rounder shape and, though so she perfectly fine standing, if Christina sat down, then rolls of fat would gather at the side of her body. It was all quite distressing for the girl who had always looked after herself and listened to her mom about being slim and beautiful. But, in her heart, Christina knew that it wasn't her fault. It was Lincoln Loud's fault. He had made her so insecure around her friends, had created a sensitive topic and hung it over her head and had been a complete ass in general.
  4.
  5. So, once Christina finished her cookie, she decided that it would be her mission, over the summer holidays, to lose all of her fat and return to her peaceful life; before Lincoln Loud. She'd shave of all of the fat and cut Lincoln Loud out of her life. It would be a cinch, simply work hard and, in six weeks time, it would be like nothing had ever changed.
  6.
  7. When, Lincoln Loud returned from the holidays. He did so happily. He loved his sisters and yet it was good to be out the house and a daily basis. He loved them dearly, but a daily summer life with them could prove to be a lot of work. As they had activities, during the summer, and expected Lincoln to be there for all of them. This led to Lincoln having little to no time for himself and even less for his best friend Clyde. Whom he was currently walking to school with. "Ready for another year of school, ace savvy?" Clyde asked, as they passed through the school gates. "Ready as I'll ever be, One-Eyed Jack." Lincoln answered, totally unprepared for the sight that was about to greet them.
  8.
  9. In the middle of the school playground was a large boisterous crowd of people. Clyde hung back. But, Lincoln, thinking they might just be playing some kind of new fad, pushed through the crowd and found three girls picking on a fat kid, who was sitting on the ground and crying. Lincoln immediately placed himself in between the victim and the three bullies. "Don't you girls have anything better to do?" He asked, earning a chorus of laughter and jeers from the crowd around him. The middle of the three girls spoke up, happy to have another target. "Aw, has little Lincoln Loud come to protect his girlfriend?" She sneered, confusing Lincoln. This was way too much trouble for Lincoln, especially on the first day of school. However, when he looked over his shoulder, he was shocked to discover that the crying fat girl was his crush, from the previous year, Christina. Her stomach had ballooned and what hadn't gone to her stomach had instead thickened her thighs and plumped up her face. Lincoln couldn't help but stare at her. She was still the same beautiful girl that he had spent a year dreaming about, desiring and wanting to kiss. Her long brown hair was still luxurious and fluffy, her face still clear and alluring, though it had now become rounder and softer, and her gaze, though now frightened and unfocused, still penetrated Lincoln's heart.
  10.
  11. He blushed and the crowd went into hysterics. Singing and chanting and throwing bits of food at Lincoln and Christina. "I'm warning you guys, back off!" Lincoln yelled, his fight or flight reflex starting to take action.
  12. "What are you going to do about it, chubby chaser? You gonna call on one of your little sisters?" One of the three girls at the head of the pack jeered at Lincoln, but he didn't back down. "Yes, yes I shall." Lincoln stated, earning more laughter. But, when he used two fingers to make a sharp whistle, the crowd was immediately split into two as Lana shoved aside any that was in her way. "Lincoln? What's all this about?" She asked.
  13. "These people are bullying Christina." He told her, pointing at the girl who was hastily rubbing tears from her eyes with a handkerchief. Lana couldn't help but stare, she had seen much fatter children on t.v, but never one as plump as Christina in real life. Nevertheless, once the curiosity was over with, Lana marched over the leader of the pack, the instigator, and yanked on her top. So that she was eye-level with the bully. "Alright, sister, I think you've had enough. Pack it in and get lost!" She screamed into the bully's face. Who was embarrassed to be told off by such a younger and smaller girl. When Lana let her go, she stumbled backwards. She thought about getting back at the little blonde girl, but thought better of it. "Tck, this isn't as fun anymore. Let's split." The leader of the hyenas declared and her two friends left with her, through the parting crowd. One by one, Lincoln's fellow schoolmates also left. Leaving Lincoln and Lana alone with Christina.
  14.
  15. Lincoln immediately thought of the chivalrous thing to do, offering Christina a helping hand to her feet. Christina, however, simply looked at it with disgust. "I can get up fine by myself." Christina spat, then proceeded to do just that. She was actually fit enough to carry her own increased weight, having exercised every day, she just couldn't stop eating fattening foods. Something that was made quite apparent as her round stomach jiggled with every movement and her thighs made their juiciness apparent, as she rose from the floor. Lincoln and Lana couldn't help but stare. Thankfully for Lana, Christina was much more appreciative of her act of bravely. "Thanks, er, you, for helping me. I'm really grateful, honest." Christina told the little girl, who had taken off her cap and was now squeezing the tip with her hands. "Grateful enough to give your knight a kiss?" Lana asked, but didn't wait for an answer and quickly stole Christina's first kiss. The kiss was brief and Lana split and made a mad dash inside of school, before either Lincoln or Christina could react. Christina felt the sensation on her lips with the tips of her fingers.
  16.
  17. "I'm really sorry, I've never known Lana to do that before?" Lincoln told Christina, with an awkward hand behind his head.
  18. "If only you had apologised sooner and for something that was actually upsetting." Christina growled, turning to walk away from Lincoln. Showing an enlarged bottom that was tucked into a tight skirt. Lincoln hurried after Christina. "Christina, I'm really sorry for that. Honest. I just thought that you wouldn't ever want to so much as see me again." He tried to explain, but Christina wanted none of it. "You're right, I don't want to see you. So, just get lost!" She yelled at Lincoln and he paused. Watching the sad girl leave for morning class.
  19.
  20. Lincoln couldn't get Christina out of his mind, her body, her sadness and his guilt rolled into each other and kept Lincoln distracted with what had become a mess of hurtful, pained feelings of desire. Clyde had noticed how his best friend was feeling, but he knew why he was feeling the way he was feeling. So, because Clyde felt himself unable to help, he kept his distance. Leaving Lincoln alone with his thoughts. At lunchtime, he left Mrs. Johnson's class, only to find Lana outside waiting for him.
  21.
  22. "You too, huh?" Lana inquired, as she pulled at her twin tails, while she sat on Lincoln's knee. They sat together, away from the rest of the school, at an old tree on the edge of the school field. Some metres away, kids could be seen play-fighting and gossiping in the centre of the field. Lana and Lincoln were alone and safe to talk about their feelings. "I guess this is a confusing day, for the both of us." Lincoln said, knowing that Lana had never even cared for other girls prior to today. She was more like one of the boys. "What are we gonna do Lincoln?" Lana asked, hoping that her older brother, the kid who boasted about always having a plan, would have a semblance of an idea. "Just make it through the rest of today and then try and forget about it. There's nothing else we can do, Lana." Lincoln answered, though it wasn't the answer that Lana wanted. She jumped to her feet and turned to argue to Lincoln. "You saw how upset she was, you just gonna leave her like that?" Lincoln sighed heavily, before giving his reply.
  23. "I don't want to. I want to make things right, I want to do whatever it takes to make it like nothing had ever happened, like I had never hurt Christina the way that I did. I want her to live a happy life without fear of the next day will bring. But, what I want. What we want. Is immaterial. Shit happened and all we can do is our best to keep people off of Christina's back. Even if it's not much, at least it's something." Lincoln exhaled air once he had finished, trying his best to calm down. Lana kicked at the dirt, then turned once she noticed movement out of the corner of her eyes.
  24.
  25. The whole time, Christina had been sitting on the other side of the tree. Unable to escape without being seen, forced to listen. As Christina stepped forward, Lana stepped back nervously. Lincoln, who was oblivious, wondered why Lana was acting the way she was; but froze upon seeing Christina. He wanted to jump to his feet and apologise, but fear kept him right where he was. Christina looked at the two Louds, then put a hand on her chest; before speaking. "I'd like to eat here, with both of you, from now on, if that's alright." She watched the Louds nod their heads in unison, then she simply muttered thanks and took her leave. Lincoln watched her leave again, this time with Lana by his side. "We're going to do that, right?" Lana asked, looking to her older brother for guidance. Her heart beating against her chest. "If you want to." Lincoln replied, realising that this was Christina's way of giving him a chance to make up for all his wrong doings. "Yeah." Lana replied, as she held her chest with her hands. "I want to."
  26.
  27. From that day on, Lincoln, Lana and Christina ate beside the tree every lunchtime. It was obvious that the Loud's packed lunch was much smaller's compared to Christina's. Who ate a king's feast, her parents having given in and now openly spoiling their daughter. But, that feast became even bigger, when Lana started to share her food with Christina. Seemingly wanting to see Christina become fatter and Lincoln didn't try to stop Lana. Though he knew he probably should. As the days passed, Lincoln, Lana and Christina grew closer, as Christina grew bigger. She still exercised, in the privacy of her home, so eventually they came a point where she stopped piling on the pounds as quickly as she was doing. Perhaps they'd come a point where she'd stop getting fatter entirely, so long as she kept up her exercise. Regardless, in spite of her hard work, she was a large figure; with her thigh-high socks sinking into soft, pink flesh, a stomach that simply rolled over her skirt and a packed rear that fought against the skirt it was shoved into.
  28.
  29. Lincoln would turn red, whenever he saw Christina walking towards their meeting spot; as her flesh danced with every step and a big smile would creep onto her face. Lana, meanwhile, felt a sudden fire light within her, that she couldn't explain and was scared to ask about. She would feel light as air and yet grounded by Christina. The two were clearly smitten by their curvy best friend. Christina had, herself, grown closer to Lincoln Loud and his tomboy little sister. Finding herself much happier with life than she had been for months, looking forward to each new day and wanting it to be lunchtime as soon as possible. Time hadn't reversed, but it had progressed for the better. She only had one thing that clung to her sunny days, a perpetual rain cloud that followed Lana wherever she went. She, of course, couldn't escape her own body insecurities.
  30.
  31. One day, during lunch, from out of nowhere, she closed her lunchbox. With food still inside it. Lincoln and Lana immediately knew that something was wrong. Christina, however, spoke first. "I'm going to try and lose weight, from now on." She said, waited for a reply that didn't come, so added. "I feel really obvious, whenever I'm outside. Like everybody's staring at me and for all of the wrong reasons. So, if they're going to stare, then I want to be pretty again." Lana's reply was both immediate and hasty.
  32. "Me and Lincoln think you're really pretty!" She yelled, then looked at Lincoln. Who added.
  33. "Yeah, Christina, don't worry about it. You're fine just the way you are." Lana nodded furiously as Christina beamed, if her two best friends found her pretty, then who cared what other people thought. Lincoln was happy to leave the conversation where it was at, happy to finish the year as it was currently going, just a brother and a sister and their best friend hanging out. But, something nagged at him, something drove him, something within him demanded change. So, he spoke up once again. "You know Christina, Lana's right. You are really pretty. Who cares if you're not conventionally attractive. You're sweet and kind, confident and you work really hard to look after yourself. Despite your eating habits and your size, I bet you can become a model." Christina's heart swelled. Her older sister was both a model and a paragon of beauty. With an hourglass figure and hours of care put into her looks. Yet, Lincoln believed that she was just like her. It didn't matter that she was fat, in Lincoln's mind, Lana's too, she had what it took to be just like her older sister.
  34.
  35. She grabbed Lincoln by the cheeks and pulled him in for a deep, long kiss. When she broke free from the kiss, she smiled joyfully; feeling herself finally free from doubt and fear. "Thank you, Lincoln." She said, her heart beating rapidly. Unable to contain her happy feelings. "Can I get one too?" Lana asked, from besides Christina. Christina paused, for just a brief moment, but all of her insecurities had melted and she had nothing left to fear. "Of course." She said sweetly. She closed her eyes, puckered her lips, and waited for Lana. Though she didn't have to wait long, as Lana's small, soft lips joined hers. This time for a full kiss, much like lovers would share. Lincoln stared, as his crush kissed his younger sister. Then watched as they broke apart, their eyelids fluttering open so that they could look into each other's eyes. Christina then took each Loud by the hand and stood up with them. After a shared look of pure adoration, between the trio, Christina pulled them into a hug. One hand on Lincoln's back and another gently placed against Lana's head. While Lincoln's arm sank into Christina's soft stomach and Lana's into Christina's plump thigh. During the romantic hug, Christina spoke softly. "Let's be together, always."
