Galaxy Angel PC Fullscreen Fix

So if you played Galaxy Angel before, chances are you already know of the issues regarding the first Galaxy Angel game with its cutscenes and compatibility fixes that only end up lagging the hell out of the game. Thanks to the efforts of one anon, he was able to find a fix for for us unfortunate faggots cursed with modern OS shitstains like Windows 8.1. So buckle up, it's time to fix all of this shit so you can finally enjoy the games in its 2002 graphical glory. Also, it's recommended you don't use Windowed Mode cause that of in itself is a hack of an already problematic game.

Here's how its done:

1. It is already assumed you downloaded the game so all the necessary folders and files are already in their translated/patched state.

2. The components that old Directx used to carry have been removed for newer and better things but that older shit is exactly what we want, download the old Directx here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109 (It shouldn't tamper with any of your other games).

3. Download the DirectX, unzip, and install.

4. After installation, go to your GA_EXE and right click for Properties

5. Go to the Compatibility Tab and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and drop down and select the Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

6. Still in the Compatibility Tab, just check the "Run this program as administrator" and the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and confirm.

7. Open up the GA_config that should automatically open up in Notepad. Simply alter the "MULTISAMPLE" and "USE_MEDIA_TIMER". Where it says 1 on MULTISAMPLE, change it to a 0 and on USE_MEDIA_TIMER where it says no change it to yes.
