Meepbeep??!

Guns. An ever tense topic in American culture, some would rather clench their shotguns tight, and wait for the day someone dare cross their threshold unauthorised. Others will protest, and anticipate the day guns are finally outlawed.
School shootings are an undeniable epidemic in the states. There has been an atrocious 1,931 school shootings since 2012’s Sandy Hook massacre. Isn’t time America puts more restrictions upon guns? Many Americans think not.
An argument from “pro-gun” advocates is that if we were to outlaw guns, only criminals would be able to acquire them. This is stating that the balance between law-abiding citizen and criminals would be offset. If a man has a firearm, and holds you with it, there may be a citizen nearby who also owns a firearm who may assist. Yet if civilians don’t own firearms we would all be at the mercy of those with them.
Another “pro-gun” argument would be: “Individual liberty only has meaning if one is allowed to, basically, willingly destroy one’s own body. “ The writer then goes on to state “as long as one does not harm others in the process”
