- FF1 PSP Full Bestiary FAQ
- What are you trying to do?
- Complete the bestiary of FF1 as quickly as possible. This requires me to kill all 203 enemies/bosses including the 8 forms of Chronodia (196-203). This is basically the 100% run of FF1 PSP
- Why are you doing this?
- Cause I am insane. Also, I feel like I can bring my time down by a lot, so lets try that
- How long is this expected to take?
- 10-15 hours at the very least. For comparison, All Bosses is about 5 hours. Add about 5 more for the additional forms of Chronodia (for which I need to do labyrinth an additional 7 times, plus add the time it takes to find and kill every other remaining encounter in the game.
- Whats the World Record for this?
- 16:54:56 by me. To date that is the only finished run of the category.
- What is the hardest part?
- 1. Labyrinth of time (i.e., the 8 forms of Chronodia)
- 2. Whisperwind cove (a lot of encounters are only on specific floors if its floor x and beyond)
- 3. A couple very rare encounters (think warmech, but without the warmech)
- 4. Yamatano Orochi (a 1/64 encounter that only appears on floor 30+ of whisperwind, only on lava floors (of which there are max 2) and since it is lava floors only, all walking tiles are annoyingly small)
- 5. Labyrinth of time (yes, I should mention this one more then once, this is gonna be hard)
- How likely are you to die on encounter x?
- Not very likely. Chronodia #203 is the hardest fight in the game and that one isnt that hard. Most encounters are very easily killable
- You killed an encounter just now and then ran... Why?
- Once an enemy is killed, it counts towards the bestiary, regardless of wether or not I kill the rest of the group. Running saves time in some parts.
- Whats the counter for?
- The counter shows how many of the 203 encounters I have killed. It runs from a checklist where I can mark of the encounters themselves as well. The first digit indicates how many are killed, the 2nd gives a percentage of that, the 3rd indicates how many are left.
