	 ▪ PERSONALITY -
 ↪  it's hard to describe lee yeonjung's personality in one word. she's sweet, and leaks of a puppy like nature that no one can deny. if you asked anyone to name an animal that yeonjung resembled the most, they'd say puppy without giving it a second thought. maybe it's because off her doe eyed expression that leaks of cuteness and innocence, or it might even be due to her clingy nature that she tends to express without even thinking. it could often be due to her immaturity, which isn't surprising, given she's probably one of the younger ones. there's no way that she is mature enough to be an adult, not when she still giggles uncontrollably at every sexual joke, and her mind tends to wander down that lane even when a statement isn't meant to be perverted. she still transitioning between being a child and adult, as a newly eighteen year old, and she's not exactly at the point where she can just magically grow up into a mature™ adult over night. in a world full of corruption and evil, yeonjung is as far from that as you can possibly get, sitting on the complete opposite of the spectrum. she's a sweetheart who always looks for the best in people. she's not the type to get mad at people easily, nor is she the type of person to judge people based on what they look like or what they say. she's a firm believer of the saying that actions speak louder than words, and she often likes to give people the benefit of the doubt - she's not the sort to judge before she actually gets to know a person, and even then, she tends to look at their positive traits more than their negative. she has a big heart full of love to give everyone, because she doesn't want anyone to ever feel unloved. it's part of why she actually likes the soulmate system, because despite how shitty life can be, it is nice to know that somewhere out there, you have a soulmate that's meant to spend the rest of their life with you. and maybe her big heart comes from not receiving as much love as she'd have liked as child, and always being pushed into the shadow of her older sister, but yeonjung is sweet to everyone, and is always there to offer a smile and hug. she can't possibly dream of ever being mean to anyone, nor would she even dream of breaking someone's heart. she's always been the type to check her heart all the time, because she desperately wants to meet her soulmate. she's extremely careful not to lead anyone on, because she doesn't have the heart to break someone else's, and she knows the disastrous things that happen to people who fall for the wrong people, something she wouldn't wish on anyone. however, it can occasionally be hard, because she's a generally likeable person, and she's nice to everyone she meets.
 ↪  yet despite her extremely likeable personality, she's isn't exactly flawless - in fact, she's far from it. she, like GREED, is impatient, something that she doesn't like the admit, but can't really deny. she hates to be kept waiting, and get's internally annoyed when people are more than two minutes late. she doesn't like waiting in lines, and hates it when she's stuck standing around for long periods of time at checkouts in the supermarket because some lady in front of her has counted her change three times now because she keeps loosing count. people often say that it is impossible to get on the bad side of lee yeonjung, from her tendency to always look at you in a positive light. this is untrue. it's not really that hard to get on her bad side, as long as you know how to do it. if you're constantly tardy, or continue to pick fun at her, or make her cry, or steal her things, she'll most likely be annoyed, and will probably turn passive aggressive on you, which, admittedly not as bad as it could be. but one thing people don't know about her is that she can be extremely scary when she's angry. it doesn't happen very often (thank god), and no one outside of her family has ever seen her really yell, but she's straight up terrifying. there's a saying that the shorter you are, the closer to satan you are, and this quote couldn't be a more accurate description of yeonjung when she's angry. she's extremely naive, and very easy to take advantage of. she's too nice for her own good sometimes, and her inability to look past peoples' good traits makes her almost blind to the evil intentions people have of her. she's been used before for homework, or for getting discounts because of her cute face people can't say no to, or even been tricked into buying expensive gifts for people who had no pure intentions behind their actions. she lives in her own little bubble believing that the good in people will always weigh out the evil, despite all the shitty circumstance that they're put through. along with this comes her tendency to guilt way too easily. she get's guilty over the smallest of things that aren't even her fault, and aren't something that she can control. it's not her fault that things seem to weight down on her shoulders, but she always sympathises with others.
 ↪   a lot of yeonjung's personality traits are rather contradicting, something that people often find odd about her. like the fact that she seems hates drawing attention to herself. it's why she usually tends to keep any of her unpopular opinions to herself, and doesn't often call people out or pick fights. however, this is a major contradiction, yeonjung actually craves attention. the only thing is, she doesn't want it from strangers or classmates that she barely speaks two words to. she wants attention from the people who love her, like her friends and her family. maybe it comes from being pushed in the shadow of older sister for most of her life - after all, being the second child meant that anything she did, her older sister had already done first. another major contradiction of yeonjung's is her ability to be both pessimistic and optimistic at the same time. it's no secret that yeonjung always looks at the best in people, and positive personality traits always outweigh the negatives in her eyes. but the strange thing is, she doesn't really look on the bright side when it comes to life and the events that play out around her. she's terribly pessimistic about her own soulmate situation, but she's always looking on the bright side for other people and their soulmate situations. it seems she can be positive about almost everyhting except her own soulmate situation, because given her family's history of finding their soulmates straight away, she's annoyed that she's different. people don't know whether to describe her as a glass half full type of person, of a glass half empty, because she's always extremely pessimistic about life and her inability to find her soulmate like the rest of her family has already done, yet she constantly sees the best in other people.
 ↪  honestly, all lee yeonjung wants in life is to find her soulmate. like the rest of her family before her, she craves to find her soulmate quickly and easily, with as little drama as possible (unfortunately, that's not what faith has in store for her). she just wants to find her soulmate - not because she's going to be a dependent girl friend, because in reality she's the opposite - but because she's so terrified of her star turning to white before she gets to meet him or her star turning red because she's fallen in love with the wrong person. she has an intense fear of being different, another reason that she doesn't like to bring attention to herself around those that she's not completely comfortable with. she knows that people have been shunned by society because of their stars, and that's something that terrifies yeonjung to the core. she doesn't want to be the odd one out. she doesn't want to be the weird one in society. she just wants to fit in, and be like everyone else, with a black star on her wrist that will fade once she meets her soulmate.

       ➝ i feel like they'd probably make sense to be her soulmate, given that yeonjung is trying to find her soulmate and hasn't yet, and these two are the opposite. SHYNESS is hiding from his soulmate, which would make sense as to why yeonjung can't find her soulmate. and CARELESS believes that people should love who they won't, so he doesn't strike me as someone who'd actively be searching for his soulmate either, so i feel like either of them would probably work well with yeonjung. i also think that they'd have contrasting personalities with yoenjung, and i see her as the type of person to fall for someone who isn't exactly like her. she's more of an opposites attract type of person (blame her inner hopeless romantic).

       ➝ given that FAITH has been looking for his soulmate, just like yeonjung, it wouldn't make sense that they'd somehow not find each other, and i feel like if they were soulmates, they'd probably find each other really quickly. also, personality wise, FAITH is supposedly cold to people, and i think that would be sort of off-putting for yeonjung (granted, if they did end up being soulmates, she'd probably get over it pretty quickly and find a way to break down his cold exterior, i suppose). but initially, they probably wouldn't match as well together as they could with other slots

	 ↪ HOW YOUR CHARACTER THINKS -
 ▪  honestly, yeonjung likes the soulmate system, most of the time. sure, she hates the fact of how burdened she feels when trying to find her soulmate, and she hates that it can be slightly controlling and sometimes even lethal, what with red stars, and she hopes she never has to experience that. her family are not known to be heartbreakers, and yeonjung is keen to follow in their footsteps with that. but the black star on her wrist gives her hope, because she's sure that there is someone out there that is her soulmate, someone that she is meant to spend the rest of her life with, and that gives her a bit of hope, and it's something that makes her feel slightly better whenever she's at her lowest. yet despite liking the soulmate system, and liking the reassurance that hey, there's someone out there who you're supposed to be with, she's a bit put out given that she hasn't found her own soulmate yet, unlike the rest of her family who found their immediately and with little drama.

     ↪ HOW THEY TREAT -
 ▪  yeonjung would be great to him, and would constantly like to be around him, to the point where it's borderline clingy for the first few months. especially since she's been looking for her soulmate for so long, and she's wanted nothing more than to find him. she would be the type to always greet him and go up to him if they're in the same room. she'd try and be slightly mindful of her clinginess, and wouldn't annoy him so much that he'd get annoyed, despite the fact that she craves physical contact. i feel like it would take her a little bit of time to let it sink in that she actually has found her soulmate, and she would probably tiptoe around the edges with him for a bit because she'd still be in disbelief, before she got over it. she'd definitely be the type to initiate skinship with him all the time, regardless of whether or not he likes it, because she's the clingy type, and she's spent so long trying to find him that there's no way she's just going to let him walk out of her life. she wouldn't care what sort of personality he had, whether he be a fuckboy or cold hearted or whatever, she'd be persistent and not give up trying to get through to him, because she knows that their soulmates, and that's enough for her to put aside all the bad things about him, and only look at his positive attributes. overall, yeonjung would be really sweet to her soulmate, because if he fell in love with someone else, she'd be devastated, and she doesn't want that to happen.

	 ↪ CHARACTER REPUTATION -
 ▪  well, her family is pretty well known in the town, since every single member of her family for as long as anyone can remember has had a black star. no one in her family has ever had a red or white star, and quite frankly, yeonjung is glad that she's the same. her family have all fallen in love with their soulmates immediately, and it's natural to expect that the same thing will happen to yeonjung. except she hasn't exactly fallen in love with him yet, because she's not really sure who he is, and that sets her apart from her family, because it didn't take any of them this long to find their soulmate - and yeonjung really doesn't wish to be different. she's not really well known for anything like grades or academics, she's merely just known as being a daughter in the family who've been extremely lucky with their soulmates since the beginning of time.

	 ↪ CHARACTER INTERACTION -
 ▪  naturally, she's pretty friendly. she's not the type to judge the others based on the things she's heard about them, not before she's met them and got to know them for herself first, at least. it's in her nature to befriend them simply, and search for their positive personality traits, and she'd be the type to get along well with all of them. she strikes me as the type to be a bit of a mediator, and would try to prevent any fights that might break out. but despite trying to keep things positive in the group, she's always quick to agree when she things things are turning out terribly, because she's terribly pessimistic about life. yet, oddly enough, despite this, i feel like she would be the one who would convince them that soulmates aren't as bad as they make them out to be.

 —  yeonjung lowkey over dramatic about the whole not finding her soulmate thing, and she's gone on a cat adopting spree, claiming that it's never too early to become a crazy cat lady. she has two cats named LUNA and SUNNY, and her mother has banned her from adopting any more cats until she's moved out.
