- Spicy__Satchels/ Sweet Purse- oooh is it FNAF theory time?
- my take, the Foxy animatronic, even when redone as "Mangle", are both the glitchiest yet most advanced of the animatronics in their respective generation/family
- Foxy was genuinely out of order and could not be reprogramed properly
- other animatronics need to "roam about" or whatever at night, but if playing perfectly, Foxy never roams at all, yet still can break into a sprint
- Foxy also essentially plays in the same way you do: he keeps looking at where your current status/attention is, and is able to strategize the decision to get ready to run based on that
- you both do the same thing, look at each other and when the chance arises, have to get to the door quickly
- another tidbit, it's rather peculiar that Foxy is also a Pirate
- and this is coming from a bit of history that only Colonial Historians or Laywers tend to know
- at English Common law there was a legal status that only two entities were members of:
- Foxes and Pirates were "enemies of mankind", all laws and execution of laws had to bend and even be ignored if it was to ensure actions of the eradication of either entity
- The law did not apply to them, the rules did not touch them
- Same too, in FNAF and FNAF 2, and to an extent FNAF 4, foxy runs on an entire distinct ruleset from everyone else
- 22:11 mango yeah, he's the only character that the mask doesn't work on, and the only way to shoo him away is with the flashlight
- The other common trait, Foxy and "Mangle" in both sets were always separate from the rest of the crew and both had a much more intimate relation/interaction with children
- Mango-like they were starting to figure out that they could still do sneaky stuff during the day and hunt down security while everyone else was playing games and such.
- mangle wasn't as big of an issue because the little kids kept taking mangle apart
- but foxy was another story and that could be a part of why they were no longer allowed to walk around/run
- because they could sneak to the back to try and attack security?
- Hot Purse- Also
- mangle's radio static
- in it theres a moment you can make out "ten one"
- 22:24 mango yeah, mangle's trying to call the police
- 22:24 Spicy__Satchels a common us police radio code for "bad signal"
- 22:24 mango but can't due to being damaged possibly
- 22:26 Spicy__Satchels and lastly
- 22:26 Spicy__Satchels both "foxy's" are in a location where they serve as a barrier between the children and the security guard
- 22:28 Spicy__Satchels actually that's second to last
- 22:28 Spicy__Satchels the actuall last is the distinction in how they attack
- 22:29 Spicy__Satchels FNAF 1, all you see is foxy taking a step in from the left door
- 22:29 Spicy__Satchels but in FNAF 2 both "foxy's" have animatiosn entirely in contrast to the notion of what risks a guard would face
- 22:30 Spicy__Satchels both leap for your face in a way that would cause severe damage even to an animatronic
- 22:30 Spicy__Satchels everything else could be a prelude to grabbing and suiting, but with Foxy and Mangle, they are just outright mauling you
- 22:31 mango Foxy specifically looks like he's going for your neck, based on the way he jumps too in 2
- 22:32 Spicy__Satchels In conclusion: they were both "out of order" because they were both accidentally more advanced than the rest
- 22:32 mango i was talking about that with a friend of mine, that foxy's attack in 2 would at the very least severely hurt someone
- 22:32 mango yeah, or at least more "aware" somehow?
- 22:32 Spicy__Satchels they're actions were not consistent with the protocl, the "law" that was otherwise embedded into the other animatronics
- 22:32 Spicy__Satchels they were simply your enemy, and they "knew" it,
- 22:34 mango so they were shut down for being too smart essentially? :0
- 22:35 Spicy__Satchels they were shut down based probably on the perception of being broken
- 22:36 mango or maybe because they just said they were "broken" despite someone realizing that they might have been too smart for their own good?
- 22:37 Spicy__Satchels maybe
- 22:37 Spicy__Satchels again refering to that legal motif: *hostis humani generis*
- 22:38 Spicy__Satchels It's a maxim of maritime law almost as old as the western civlization concept of maritime law
- 22:38 Spicy__Satchels we technically still have it in modern maritime law, but withot the mandate of execution. Where the treament however is still beyond the ordinary rules and limitations centered on the goal of stoping their advances
- 22:39 Spicy__Satchels it works way to well with the treatment of the Foxy's
- 22:41 Spicy__Satchels even "Out of Order" seems to coincide with the theme, because the means of virtually all European common law to act upon that doctrine was the "Write of outlawwry"
- 22:41 Spicy__Satchels sorry, that's a "Writ" not write.
- 22:41 lovecraftfag Are we getting deep withfucking fnaf?
- 22:42 Spicy__Satchels it's where the term outlaw comes from, it's not that the person is behaving outside the law, it's that they are outside the order of law and thus get no protection
- 22:42 Spicy__Satchels they are "out of order"
- 22:42 lovecraftfag ah
- 22:43 lovecraftfag I've always had the feeling Foxy was supposed to do the bite of 87 previously
- 22:43 lovecraftfag But Scott needed to do a sequel.
- 22:44 mango personally i thought freddy did because of the "handprint" detail on his face and the rule of "don't touch freddy"
- 22:44 lovecraftfag I always figured that was Phone Guy or another guard.
- 22:45 *** ArmoredCourier joined #FNAF

- 22:46 Spicy__Satchels hang on to your ass because if you thought my legal thesis was done you are in for a hell of a ride
- 22:46 lovecraftfag I didn't know much about the game and hit esc when I saw it.
- 22:47 lovecraftfag sure thing sweet purse
- 22:47 Spicy__Satchels Specifically in English common law, a writ of outlawry made the pronoucement in the courts of " Caput gerat lupinum"
- 22:47 Spicy__Satchels "May he bear a wolfish head"
- 22:48 Spicy__Satchels though lupinum was understood to extent to all undomesicated canines, which the greatest of hated of canines by the english was Foxes
- 22:48 Spicy__Satchels Poetically, a man was killed because he was addorned with the legal guise of a fox
- 22:49 Spicy__Satchels because that is what his behavior was like, the vile canines that caused the troubles
- 22:49 Spicy__Satchels *THE PERSON RESPINSIBLE FOR THE BITE OF 87 CONSTANTLY BULLIED BY WEARING A FOXY MASK*
- 22:50 Spicy__Satchels *THE ANIMATRONICS KILL THOSE WHO ARE "out of order" BY PUTTING ON THE ADORMENT OF AN ANIMAL ON THEM, WHICH KILLS THEM"
- But it's just a theory.
- A game theory.
