- 'Sup, doods!
- For the first time since PPL2020, I am not part of the grand finals picture for the tournament. It's unfortunate that I had to face both FFR Pro and Yoschi a little earlier than I had anticipated, but it's more or less the result I was expecting going in. What I wasn't expecting was my hands to start fighting against me so violently. My biggest takeaway from this tournament is that I need to start taking care of myself better physically if I am going to withstand the tournament activity and improve my mental game. I'm gonna need some time to break my old habits to do that effectively, however, so even after the tournament is done, I will not be right back to the Wednesday-Sunday schedule I was doing before. As much as I want to push myself to gain exposure on social media, I will not be able to sustain any growth if I cannot physically take it. Therefore, I will be on Friday nights only for the foreseeable future while I get myself right.
- But not this Friday. The grand finals will be taking place on Friday. I will be bringing you that match over at PuzzleSpeedrun—and then probably spending the rest of the night finishing up the credits sequence. I blame the mobile game Rush Royale for being so addicting and myself for allowing me to get sucked into it. Who knew that competitive tower defense could be made into a thing worth playing?
- That’s my life story for the week. Later, doods!
