  1. Rules-
  2. Demifiend: New rule: dun fuk up, fam. Plz add this to all future rule sets
  3. Prime: None of these apply for the intro, no damage done within said intro is consequential to the rest of the fight either. The intro is all about style and creativity, go fucking bonkers.
  4.
  5. 1. This will be a 3-part rule defining Preps, Action limits per post and Godmod/Powerplay, since the three are intrinsically interconnected.
  6.
  7. i. Action limits per post. The only unobjectionable parameter is that your action count stays within reason. Otherwise, number of actions made per post is completely circumstantial. A general guideline to follow would be to maintain within two quickdraw(QD) attacks or one fullyprepped(FP) attack. But once again, this is entirely vetted on a case-by-case basis. E.g. Lifting your gun and firing six shots in quick succession can be counted as just a single quickdraw action. It makes no sense for you to be able to do that while your opponent is in melee range of you, midswing of his buster sword.
  8.
  9. ii. Preps. You are only allowed one prep per post and each prep takes a full post to be considered complete. Preps also have to be noticeable, in that there needs to be intent and clarity regarding the player's description of a prep. Also said prep needs to have a noticeable impact on the amount of and severity of actions in said post. i.e. You can't prep a more powerful fireball and simultaneously channel all your energy and focus into the strongest fireball you can summon.
  10. -IMPORTANT- No attack will ever be entirely instant or unblockable/unavoidable regardless of how profoundly prepped. Prepped offenses can only be fully mitigated by at least equally prepped defenses. Otherwise, damage reduction is ascertained by dividing defensive prep against offensive prep. i.e. A 3 prepped offense will have its damage reduced by 2/3rds against a 2 prepped defense.
  11.
  12. iii. I mean, duh.
  13.
  14. 2. Relative powerscaling is in effect. Powerlevels allowed in every battle will be determined based on finding a middleground between all combatants involved. i.e. If a blockbuster is facing a city buster, then the power scale will be fixed to multiblock busting. Key point to note, this applies for all aspects of a character, inclusive of but not limited to attack potency and survivability. For example, if you're in a citybusting powercapped fight, you can't eat a full citybusting nuke and just shrug it off.
  15.
  16. 3. Metagaming. Standard metagaming prohibitions are applicable here. Also any IC abilities that make the character privy to strictly OOC information is strictly prohibited. Abilities that aid in pattern recognition and/or threat level assessment are generally acceptable on a case-by-case basis. However, the ability to instantly gauge the nature, potency and weakness of an attack before it has even been cast is just silly. To put it in a sentence, using OOC wit to find an IC way out, is ok whilst using OOC knowledge to find an IC way out, is not.
  17.
  18. 4. Interrupts. Up to the judges' discretion. To be determined on a case-by-case basis. Timeline for a series of events begins the moment intent to act has been made apparent, any action taken to override said event before even its intent being known is considered a timeline. Otherwise, the permissibility of interrupts comes to the plenty of minutia within combat and thus will be dealt with as and when the situation arises.
  19.
  20. 5. NPCs.
  21. -NPC limit set to 2 per fight.
  22. -NPC treated with the same integrity and responsibility as actual characters; No auto-hits on NPCs, NPCs take up action counts.
  23. -Situations where a character splits his own capacity and abilities into seperate entities not treated as NPCs.
  24.
  25. 6. Reposts. Reposts can only be requested two minutes after the post has been made. No repost will be allowed once the opponent has posted. Regardless if the reason be tactical error or rule infringement, reposts will be allowed as long as requested within two minutes of making the post. And anytime otherwise, no repost shall be allowed.
  26.
  27. 7. Time-limit per post will be set to 72 hours. Any extension request formally submitted to the judges at least before the final 24 hour mark with a valid reason will be considered. Otherwise, no extensions will be allowed.
  28.
  29. 8. Information stated in the character sheets before battle begins is final. No information shared through any other form will be tolerated. Only abilities, equipment, power level, etc listed in the character sheet is accepted.
  30.
  31. P.s. Roleplay is the marriage of fantasy and science consummated with writing. Treat it with such respect. Do not be bothersome with unfounded bitching about numerical values, neither is there a need for intolerable bickering regarding the exact angular momentum of debris.
