- Back to Normal With No Blinking Edition
- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- It had been a few months since I last played Pokemon Puzzle Challenge with any intensity, but last week’s attempts felt pretty good considering. Managed to improve a few of my best stages, too. Since I would like to play Intense mode at SGDQ 2019, I’m gonna spend some more time with this game. Perhaps I’ll try to get all the Challenge mode records back. …I’m not gonna like Easy mode. I will also plan some routing of Tetris Attack V-Hard on stream this week, too. I still need to make sure that I should be starting with the same stage 1 as Panel de Pon S-Hard. This will likely be my new normal for the immediate future.
- In other stream news, I plan to be taking a long Christmas break from work so there will be more longer streams soon. I should work on some other speedgame during that time. Maybe I’ll still be playing through Gex 3 at that point. I’ll figure something out, but I thought a heads up would be appreciated.
- Oh yeah, I did manage to finish the GBC version of The Grinch. There’s no janky platforming like there is on PS1 so it’s kind of a fun action adventure game. It was a pleasant surprise. Thanks, Vyse! I expect the videos of that playthrough to end up on YouTube near Christmas so it feels fitting. The next game that Vyse donated for (yes, again) was the N64 version of Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. I will start playing that in its entirety this weekend. I think it will be my first time playing a Gex game. We’ll see why it’s a forgotten series.
- In other gaming news, I am shipping my NES back for a replacement. My Everdrive is still in transit and hasn’t made it into the U.S. yet so I never had a game handy to test the NES with. However, even without a game, the NES should be able to turn on. The power light should blink to tell me that there is no game inserted. The power light on this NES never did turn on no matter what I did. Maybe I’ll be lucky with the next one. I may not get it in time for my Christmas break, which is kinda what I was hoping for so I had something else to do.
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
