  1. .. The crowd echoed thunderous roars through the arena, chanting names of gladiatorial fighters that may come to entertain. From the southern gate came a rattling as hands gripped an iron gate and began to shake.

  3. Arms bulging as it ripped upwards, the gate hurling itself open. Stepping from the entrance was Tiberius. His figure rode into sight, body was measured at 6'6" and amassing at 250 pounds of raw power.

  23. Weaponry chosen in this scenario, dealing with an assumed skillful foe was as such; in his right hand was a blade known as a Falcata. A blade composed of steel plates buried for years to corrode weakened composites. It was twenty-eight inches in length.

  25. The blade itself was composed of the Laminae from the steel to construct a blade without shattering points. The steel of the blade was Damascus Steel, a very appealing steel; however just as effective in means of strength and durability.

  27. Withheld in his left hand was a shield known as a parmula, a standard round shield. Composed of a thicker and far more durable steel, able to withstand blows from even maces and remain intact. Withheld from the rear side by his hand and forearm.

  29. The utterance of grunts followed by speech pronounced through a deep and heavy tone, " I have come to spill blood! Thy foes prepare for the decimation you are about the face! I am Tiberius! Today is the day you fall! " His head lowered once the words had

  31. escaped his lips. A slight muffling and echo had encompased the verbal notion brought through the metallic helmet. He felt his heart pounding as he took a single step forth, followed by a few more to take part in the centre of the arena.

  33. Clouds of dust and debris swirled upwards from every foot movement as he approached the point of origin. Awaiting, hearing the sounds of rattling metal from bags of change in the stands. He raised his arms and let out a gutteral yell.

  35. His arms lowered and he began to loosen the tension confined in his muscles. Shaking his arms and bounding upwards in small hops upon his feet to prepare his body for battle. The blood began to flow... Tiberius was ready.. -d
