Holy sht heaven has some serious Brazil/Lord of the Flies/Beyond Thunderdome sht going on.
Maybe god got coup'ed centuries/thousands of years ago and the whole place is being run by an angelic junta who pits the lower rungs of heaven against each other to keep the whole thing running.
God in both the Old and New Testament was many things, but being a cutthroat Social Darwinist wasn't one of those things.
