(21)Jhin quirks an eyebrow as the actual sword was drawn, only for his right hand to reluctantly clasp itself upon the hilt of his blade. Rain continued roaring downward upon the duo, but he made no excuses. If this was the path that Roshi went to go down upon, they would have to simply adapt and move forward. They couldn't afford to play it lightly, especially in these trying times.

 A metallic 'hiss' is given as Jhin silently draws his blade, directing it towards Roshi as he adopts a fighting style. He would exhale gently as he levels his weapon before his very own eyes, before propelling himself forward to strike out with a vertical strike!

 So be it!

(22) Jhin squints lightly as his blade collides with Roshi's own, sparks ringing out audibly as he drowns out the world around him. His focus laid upon the opponent before him, and his eyebrows gently shot upward as he was momentarily exposed once the blade was properly parried. He slips back momentarily as he re-adjusts his proper placement along the tiled flooring , only to make the attempt to slip aside from Roshi's strike along his chest.

 It would likely be a narrow miss, but he would intently close in upon his opponent, his blade leveled at his eye-level in order to showcase the mastered technique - and the first he's learned thus far!

(23)Jhin collides his blade against Roshi's own as he attempted to catch the warrior off-guard once more. IT would appear that Roshi had also learned a new move over the course of time, leaving Jhin to grunt lowly as he's forced backward with a kick toward his chest. The strike impacts his free arm, but the force of such managed to send him skidding along the now bloodied tiles. He took only a few minor scuffs from the exchange, but would take it upon himself to reset his stancing.

 (24)"Did your cousins teach you that one?" He drawls out, positioning his blade in front of him as he appears thoughtful. Perhaps he too ought to apply himself and develop a technique of his own, now that he's mastered one of the stepping stones given to him.
Regardless, he doesn't appear too bothered by his attack being repelled for the time being, allowing the rain to settle down upon him repeatedly. He doesn't attack outright this time around, bearing in mind to keep to the fundamentals of the fighting style he's developed. For the time being, he takes his time in assessing if Roshi had anything else hidden up his sleeve.

(25)Jhin remains silent for some time, only for his eyes to briefly close. The pittering of rain was relentless, and the torrent never appeared to cease. It lead to him opening his eyes once more, and an idea surfaces in the back of his mind. He wastes little time in propelling forward on that note, accelerating quickly as he closes upon Roshi within a few moments. His grip tightens along hilt of his blade, and within that moment, a series of seven slashes are unleashed without warning.

 Parrying his previous blows had been effective for Roshi, but he could not hope to parry all of these consecutively. The rain of blows only intensified, leaving him to be overwhelmed by the multitude of slashes that now were raining upon him.

 He was the storm itself!
