  1. so... me and two others are driving through this circuit of wacked-up roads, suspended high above the ground. we each have our own car, and we're headed for the airport.
  2.
  3. when all of a sudden, there's a fork, and i head for the right, and the others head for the left, and i'm like SHIT and back up and join them.
  4.
  5. then... we're falling? the road ended up there, and our cars are falling down about 100 feet until we land safely in a parking lot, and then we walk out of our cars and encounter this huge pile of people in specific clothes. one of my friends walks past it where we stop, and they were wearing yellow clothes, which apparently means they get placed at the bottom of the pile. the two of us pass by once the officials tell us we're all right.
  6.
  7. and then we walk and walk and walk until we're in this huge group, we're all deaf, or at least familiar with each other, and my friend is now the leader, and we have everything rationed, since apparently we're isolated from the rest of the world now, and we can't get out, but we'll be okay.
  8.
  9. there are these doors that haven't been opened in a long time, but they're now open, and these... swedish-speaking people? are coming into our place. both of our groups are in their own meeting, and my friend stands up on a chair and tells the swedish people to pick their leader. they pick a tall man in his 50, 60s who sports a beard.
  10.
  11. we were never in disagreement; we just needed to get the swedish people to understand how things work around here, that supplies have to be rationed, that we need to respect each other. my friend, he gives us all some pep talk and talks to the old bearded man, who tells his group what's going on, and we're all in agreement.
  12.
  13. then we have a big feast, and everybody seems to be enjoying the food.
  14.
  15. i go out of the cafeteria and into our walled-off abandoned city that is now our home. i pull up a digital menu in front of me, and i want to buy something, an accessory for myself... but i don't have any money. my friend comes by, reassures me that he can get me what i want. i tell him thanks, and give him a hug, for doing everything he's been doing so far.
