Doctor "Time" turner Whoovington lifted up the sword from its ceremonial alter, he blew the dust off it gently and looked at the silver blade "ahh.. Eclipse, the famous sword held by the tyrant who attacked and pilaged ancient canterlot during the winter solstice night. the bloody swath cut through on that day gave the moniker "nightmare" to that princess of old. in fact no one has seen her or anything of hers for about a thousand years, people always speculated she may have got lost in the lunar cave of the canterlot diamond mines."
"Still speaking to yourself i see, it is no wonder no companions will even stay with you for longer than a year." a voice echoed around the stone chamber where Doctor whoovington knelt by the alter in the center
"Master Saxxon, i should have smelled your stink a mile away" Turner said standing up, the pure silver blade still held in his hand
"Oh please doctor, you should know by now i will always beat you, mainly because... i never make rookie mistakes" the voice echoed as the Chamber started to shake "Pressure plate trap, you dunce"
The Doctor looked at the alter, it was indeed sinking into the ground "oh, not good" he said before starting to run towards the exit.
he clapped his stetson on tighter and ran down the hallway, dodging chunks, darts, snakes, and the occasional spinning blade when he heard a creaking from up and a little further back.
Turner paused and glanced back to see a giant bolder starting to roll his way "oh... notgoodnotgoodnotgood!" The Doctor started running for all his worth towards the bright light.
"doctor."
He sped up his pace and lept over a bottomless pit, the bolder close on his heels
"Doctor."
the bolder soon caught him, he could feel the immense weight pressing down on his leg, the feel of joints and bones creaking under the strain
"DOCTOR!"
Turner woke up, banging his head on the Desk lamp and knocking a coocoo clock off the workbench.
"R-Rose, i was just.. uh.. i well"
Roseluck sighed "you were dreaming you were a "tomb raider" kind of archiologest again, right?
"no, of corse not, what gave you..." The Doctor started and died out as Roseluck held up 'Daring Do and the blade of the moon' "oh... well em, whats on the agenda today Rose?" Turner said as he adjusted his green tie

Dr. whoovington stepped out of his tent into the hot egyptian desert, he glanced over the dig sight and smiled, even though he was no adventurer he still had the ability to "travel" in time. to see places of old before anyone else. to brave dangers... well heat and bugs anyway.
turner turned and started walking around the digsight to the command table, a familiar backside already there "Master Saxxon." turner said as he stepped under the shade of the shelter
"Ahh, finally decided to grace us with your presence? we could have dug up half of pompeii by the time you were roused from your dreams." Saxxon said "and Dont call me Master, you have not been my aprentice for quite some time."
Turner sized up the old man.
where turner was tall and slim with stickey up brown hair and some glasses perched on his slim nose, saxxon was diffrent. he was slim yes, but not as tall, also his hair was strait and flat.
"so, any progress on the "time" lock as you called it?" Turner said looking at the blueprints of the current digs.
"yes.. well if you can call no reaction to a welding torch 'progress' but i think we shall be through that door in less than two nights."
Turner stood up and pushed his glasses back up to his eyes "oh? and why?"
Rose sighed "obviously you were not paying attention yesterday, can i answer him Dr Saxxon?"
Saxxon smiled and nodded
Roseluck pulled up a video picture on the small plasma screen, it showed a small solid metal door with all sorts of inscribed symbols on it. she pointed out to a passage of text on the left side
"When numbers three colide in time and zebras start chanting in rhyme, the path ahead will open be revealed, a portal to the El... the rest is faded with time.. or perhaps damaged intentionally. today however is the first of the third month in the three hundreth reign of pharohs, so if any possible chance to get in shows itself, it will be in two nights.
Turner chuckled "well when a zebra starts rhyming anyway"

The Doctor dashed around the console of the TARDIS, flicking leavers and pushing buttons "And that is why you never tell the king of deloax that his nose is upside down." he spun in place and slammed on a button to his immediate left. the silence was defening, but the doctor kept talking as if someone was in the room with him.

"Ahh, well i figure we have had a lot of exitement already, so a good relaxing fun in the sun trip is just what we need, so i programed sun, sand, time, and spun this knob here... so we should land on any beach in any galaxy. you can call me clever now if you want."
he pushed a button and the raspy sound of the TARDIS materializing echoed through the domed room
The doctor ran to the door and looked out "Oh... egypt... um.. let us land someplace easer to get to"
the doors shut and soon the Whirring sound was heard again. and if anyone bothered to look up they would see a tiny blue box vanishing off of the Sphinx's head.
The Doctor pushed another button and the tardis landed again, "well not the beach, but egypt. interesting right?" he grabbed his sonic and headed out the door.
"STOP!" came a voice "Stop! dont move a micron!"
the Doctor froze balancing on the tips of his toes "what?"
"who are you and what are you doing on our dig sight!?" came a female voice
"oh nothing. just passing through, happened here on accident."
"oh accident nothing. you came on purpose"
"Wait a second.. i know that voice..." The doctor gently lowered his feet and turned
"Proffesser river song"
"hello sweetie"

Doctor Whooves was doing what he did best at a time like this, Galloping.
his two companions keeping stride as they crossed the subterranean chambers of the tomb of a neigyptian king
"i told you we would desturb the kings great rest, and to pass on elsewhere would be best" the Striped face of zecora slid into The Doctors peripheral vision as she came neck and neck with him
"but listen not because "its cool" now causes you to look the fool."
"How was i supposed to know mummies existed, in my 900 years i rarely find a dead body that is reanimated.. well kind of rarely anyway"
"Doctor. you said a short trip, no danger, bon bon is going to kill me if i die!" a light green unicorn said as they drifted around a left turn
"you wont die! trust me, the exit is just around here, a left ahead. my memory is flawless on this."
they dashed trough the door way on the left and the doctor slammed it shut, dropping a heavy beam across it so it would not budge
"wala, now the exit should be... oh." he said looking around
"a door of steel, a mummys blocked path.. if things were not so bad, i could laugh."
Zecora sat down "trapped we are due to a err in our flight.. that left we took.. should have been a right."
unobserved to the three equines, a small glow appeared on the door before fading away.
