⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⇘⇘ behind these closed doors, there lies a really anxious jiseok, and a caring person who legit worries about everything and has no time for himself, his real persona. he always worries about things, that something even unimportant could make him worry over it. he always asks questions (to friends ofc) if what hes doing is right or at least okay. it can even go far to him crying to himself in front of people when hes in a big crowd. he really tries his best to hide his anxious side (more like true self), but sometimes cant help but breakdown because he cant just keep it hidden forever. he always compares himself to others, thinking that theyre more better and it even goes far to him hating to look in a mirror.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⇘⇘ jiseok is a doubtful person, he was like that since the beginning. hes always uncertain with his decisions, thinking that theyre not gonna go well. his doubfulness started when people compared him to someone (lets say a model for example) and saying the other looked better and the he was wasnt, it really didnt end well for jiseok and his doubtfulness and anxiety became more stronger inside him. ever since then, he always regrets his decisions as soon as he makes it.

(isnt that the softest thing i have wrote all day omg) hes always there for you to lean a shoulder on, someone you can feel like relate to and be in good hands, even if he doesnt seem like it.

●● born at osaka, jiseok was born into a family who he loved so much. he made a lot of friends there and was actually a carefree and a shy person. he always got compliments about his looks, but over time jiseok was wondering if they were lying. back to the point, his parents started to argue a lot. he couldn't exactly recall all those arguments from the late sleepless nights but he swore that one of the words he had caught was "cheating" and "divorce". after that night, jiseok slowly developed a habit of not sleeping and just plain out detached from life at this point.

at the age of 9, his father left him. jiseok didnt know where, why, and when, but he was told that he was going somewhere really far from japan. that made jiseok upset for weeks, it wasnt helping that he has to deal with his mother due to the fact that shes judgemental, saying things like he should where something that fits him and that he looks a bit weird. but that didnt affect him much, not until some bullies bullied jiseok. and that was the start of how jiseok developed anxiety and how he hated himself, so much.

fast forward to the age of 12, jiseok moved in seoul with his mother and was a bit nervous on meeting people he wasnt familiar with and communicating with a new language. he always stayed in his new home, shy to meet other people. one day, he was doing his usual thing. and by 'usual' i mean playing on his phone, in his room, clearly bored. he had nothing else to do since his mother left to buy groceries and that he cant watch the TV because he still isnt fluent in korean. suddenly he felt a bit dizzy, like something was going on inside his head. he took in a deep breath to relax and calm himself down, and exhaled, but what came out was pink smoke instead of air like it usually does. that just made him panic more, he thought there was some fire going on and almost, keyword: ALMOST dialed 911. but just as soon as he reached out his phone and saw his reflection, he screamed so loud spongebob is quacking.

eventually, at the end of the day (his mom is still not home, but she'll be back home anyway) jiseok discovered he had a quirk (yes, he was surprised, but not really) and tried different stuff to it, like changing his looks, making false objects, hell, he even tested it to his neighbor. making his neighbor think there was a giant rubber duck beside their house and seeing them freak the hell out but in reality there wasnt was the best time jiseok had witnessed in a while; but back to the storyline, jiseok uses it when he goes out in public, changing his appearance and making up a fake personality that completely changes the person he is.
