*sigh* Oh, how I've missed holding you like this. You'll always be my little kitten, you know? No matter how big you get, how old you are, you'll always be that shy, sweet little neko that I found in the shelter one day.

You know, I knew you were the one when I first saw you. All the other nekos I met were lovely in their own right, but with you... Oh with you I knew I was going to love you.

It took you a while to warm up to me; I'm guessing having to meet so many new people so often would make you anxious, and not all of them are so kind, understanding, patient... Once you saw that I was willing to wait for you you slowly came out of your shell and oh honey you were *so* affectionate. You snuggled up right next to me and didn't want me to leave even to just go file the paperwork.

You still are that affectionate. Even now, you're nuzzling so close into me. Do you want me to stroke your hair for a little while?
