  8. I still consider you a friend, don't hold (much) ill will, etc. But I would like to share a couple thoughts about you leaving and how you did it.
  9.
  10. First, just you leaving: I get it. I'm the tortoise and you're the LED illuminated hare with an attached spoiler. You weren't satisfied with sitting around like we have been. However, you were a leader in BLUEP as a director and a leader in the alliance as an FC. I know I'm old fashioned, but good leaders don't just leave when things get frustrating for a couple weeks. Good opportunities for leaders to bow out would have been just as the move was announced or after you helped everyone move in and get settled. Leaving like this gives you the reputation that you'll abandon a group when the going gets tough. It's incompatible with good leadership.
  11.
  12. Second, how you left: Again, as a leader what you say matters. I noted several times you had an appropriate attitude during large meetings & fleets of "keep your chin up", etc. However, in small settings you were usually bad mouthing the situation to everyone in channel and exaggerating the details. Complaints go up, not down: https://youtu.be/dKbdE5LOGNQ After publicly complaining for so long and then presenting people that look up to you with what you describe as a better alternative, of course they're going to follow you. You don't need to explicitly ask them to leave with you. "I'm not trying to poach, but here are 100 reasons why this place sucks and 100 reasons why this other place is better. Again, not poaching."
  13.
  14. About the only honorable way to leave for another group like this is to do it while your current group is smooth sailing and the only people that know you're planning to leave are your superiors. This is a game and you play how you want, but leaving this way doesn't do much to build your honorable leadership reputation. It makes you look like an impatient, sunny-weather mercenary.
  15.
  16. In the scheme of things, my complaints are very minor. You didn't steal assets, awox, etc. I just wanted you to understand how your actions as a leader are viewed if that's important to you.

  18. Miss your musk,
