— BACKGROUND : Areum has always struggled with her academic studies, maths equations always ended up with the wrong answers and the english words got messed up in her head. Their mother used to enter Areum into beauty pageants to build up her self-esteem- but it soon became a habit for the mum to sign her daughter up for every single pageant in the area. Areum always won so her confidence built up quickly, mostly for her looks. The one thing she's confident in are flowers, what type they are, where they grow, what they symbolise and so on.

— best friend/cousin // im jaebum // 20 // the cousins did modeling together ever since they were little, areum has a hard time making friends so she always hangs out with jaebum, he's very serious but also hilarious which makes him fun to hand around.

— flower shop owner/guardian angel // ms park // 61 // ms park has always been a motherly figure for her, even if she already had a mother. on their first meeting when areum was 5 years of age (she was running an errand for her mother) she was convinced that ms park (a widower with a huge heart) was her guardian angel. the woman had comforted her when she was feeling scared or afraid and taught her a lot about flowers. areum visits her shop at least three times a week to help out.

From an outsider's point of view, he seems like a cold and mean person but he really isn't. Love Interest can be very clingy at times which can drive Areum nuts- but it makes her smile to see him very shy around her. It's very hard to please Areum so he's always trying to make their relationship more of a friendship than a romance- hence why they have a good relationship then the other couples. He is also gorgeous so it's likely that he and Areum have people gawking at them when they walk past. He is almost like the opposite of his wife; understanding, easy to talk to, hilarious and obedient towards his parents and older brothers.

— COUPLE TRIVIA :
• the two always make sure that they dont do sappy couple stuff like matching outfits- the only item that may be similar are their rings
• both call each other by their real names, but eventually nicknames are introduced, he calls her by her nickname first
• though it's not intentional, areum finds her way close to his side when she's cold
• it takes a while but holding hands are introduced to their relationship
• since he has a sore back, areum sleeps on the pull-out couch in their room
• meals togehter is a must, even if none of them have time- at least five minutes together while eating

rings / the rings are similar to promise rings- so they're deciding that instead of making their relationship very serious because their married, it's a promise to treat each other well and be there for each other when needed.

• when making the wedding invitations, she forgot to add ms park to the guest list- so she dragged her fiance all the way to her flower shop to personally invite her to the wedding
