  1. I support occupy, but the political introduction was kind of irrelevant.
  2.
  3. The Occupy seasion wasn't that interesting.
  4.
  5. The game choices were very inspiring - I am heartened by the amount of attention co-op and truly social experiences are getting. And thank you so so so so much for bringing the Oakutron - such an inspiring project! Loves & hugs for all!
  6.
  7. I admire the choice to feature such a socially concious product as the OAK-U-TRON. It's not very relevant professionally, but it touches on an incredibly important social issue, something our medium does far too in-frequently. I have general reservations (see below) about scene focused talks in this session, but OAK-U-TRON's subject matter is too important to ignore.
  8.
  9. Offenders #2 were the Keep Me Occupied! group. We saw about 3x as much as we needed to there. It's great that they made an experience for the occupy movement -- I'm all for that -- but there was very little talk or enlightenment about experimental gameplay beyond the dead players stay behind to help others. But overall it felt wrong for this venue.
  10.
  11. i left after the Occupy Oakland bit, which was a shame because i hear i missed some great presentations. Occupy Oakland was a very uninteresting game without much of a hook, and the speakers came off as self-important.
  12.
  13. The three presentations that blew my mind and their speakers should be recognized for having amazing content and a very solid presentation of that content are about the following games Glitchhiker, Oak-u-tron, and Journey.
  14.
  15. Lots of great stuff. Anna's presentation was the low point.
  16.
  17. This session was embarrassingly biased towards white men. Even a theoretical physics conference would have more women researchers. The organizer should be ashamed.
