Collection of 4 small glass flasks
Flasks have two internal chambers, filled with non-anomalous purified water and oil.
Oil varies between different flasks depending on recovery location
Medieval Europe: Holy Anointing Oil
Ancient Maya: Cottonseed Oil
Ancient China: Sesame Oil
Ancient Greece: Olive Oil
Flasks are sealed with a removable stopper, which extends down to prevent mixture of internal chambers
When the stopper is removed and liquids are poured, the liquids mix and create anomalous fluid
Flasks have different functions, and correspond to stages of Alchemy “Magnum Opus”

Mixes into opaque white liquid when poured. Cures disease when ingested by a living being, heals injury when applied to a living organism. Shows a limited effect on various forms of corruption of inanimate objects. Healing is slow, taking anywhere from 30 minutes for small wounds, and 3 days for a major injury. Healing is often extremely painful, with testing revealing a correlation between increased pain and increased severity of injuries/diseases.

Cottonseed Oil
Mixes into metallic gold liquid when poured. Any substance that liquid is applied to begins to transmute into solid gold of 100% purity. Substances do not transmute unless 100% of the object’s surface area is covered. The liquid forms into droplets unless a substantial quantity is present to form a larger pool, similar to how liquid mercury behaves.

Holy Anointing Oil
Mixes into an opaque red liquid, described as “imperial” or “regal” by most observers.1 When ingested by or applied to a subject which can die or “expire”, the “lifespan”2 of the subject is doubled in length, as well as “de-aging” the subject until the subject appears to be approximately half as old as the subject’s actual age. This effect is repeatable, however, each subsequent use of SCP-XXXX-D results in diminishing returns following a variant of the inverse square law.3

Alchemist travels to all “Old World” locations before boarding the Spanish Caravel which wrecked in the Caribbean and was one of the 12 survivors that washed up on the coast of Yucatan. According to records, 10 were sacrificed but two escaped. The alchemist could be one of the survivors.
