Covet: Felix was sitting outside having a smoke, waiting for the tow truck and the officer to show up. He had a pretty bruised up face and a bandage across his nose. His head was still hurting a bit, but he was through the worst of the concussion by now.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade was sitting in her room honestly just thinking of more ways to be a fucking asshole to Felix like draining his brake fluid wasn't bad enough. Oh the dramatic irony. She chewed on the inside of her cheek, a pen in her hand as she tapped it against her open notebook trying to brainstorm.-
Covet: Felix saw the flashing yellow lights bouncing off the trees and what not as the tow truck came around the corner with his Jeep on the back, The front end and driver's side looking the worst with lots of nice scratches and dings. The front side completely crumpled in from having met with the light pole. There was an officer right behind the tow truck, without his lights on, that pulled into the drive way while the tow truck went about getting his Jeep unloaded.
Alexithymiaa: -Seeing the flashing lights, Jade picked up her head, her eyes going a bit wide at the sight of Felix's wrecked Jeep. Sliding off her bed, she walked to her bedroom door and stepped out into the hallway, making her way to the front door to pull it open and linger in the doorway, just sort of gawking.-
Tsaaq: Thaddeus pulled up to the house, seeing the lights and the commottion. "Oh fuck." He whispered because cops. Until he spotted the tow truck. He hurriedly got out of his own vehicle and approached Felix. "What the hell happened?" He asked, looking stressed.
Covet: Felix looked over at Thad, putting his cigarette out, waiting for the officer to get out of his car. "Got into an accident last night. Couldn't stop, blew through an intersection and hit a light pole." He said, then caught Jade standing there in the doorway, "Breaks failed me."//  The officer came over with his thumb in his belt as he called out, "Felix Marlowe?" The officer said looking between the three people in front of him as he stood at the bottom of the stairs on the porch.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh my god..." She whispered to herself, her eyes focusing on Felix's busted up face when he had turned to look at her. She instantly felt guilty for fucking shit up because he could have died, moving her hand up to cover her mouth.-
Tsaaq: "Shit." He whispered as he sat down beside him. "What the hell man, did you need to take your jeep to the shop or something?" Thaddeus asked. He instantly stood when the cop had approached and went silent.
Covet: "I've got to wait for the insurance people to come check it out and acess the damages" He told Thad then spoke up to the officer, "That's me. I was told you needed to talk to me, Did you guys get all the info you needed last night?" He asked, // The officer shook his head, "We got all that, but we wanted to give you the updated report for your insurance, after a further inspection it looks like the break lines were drained entirely, were you aware of this?" The officer asked him
Alexithymiaa: -Jade bit down on her lip incessantly as she heard the police offer reveal the issue with his brakes, twisting her hands uncomfortably behind her back, an entirely guilty look plastered over her face. "Um... do you need anything? Water? I could get you some water..."-
Tsaaq: Thaddeus inhaled feeply and glanced over to the officer. His thick eyebrows raising up his forehead as the cop explained what had happened. "Wow." He whispered. "That's..." He stopped himself from speaking then went to look over to Jade.
Covet: "No, I wasn't aware of that. I just had it at the shop last week for some body repairs and they said everything was fine and topped off." Felix said as he crossed his arms. "Was there a leak or something?" He asked then looked at Jade, "No, I'm good. I don't need anything." He said annoyed that she was interupting the conversation. // The officer looked down at the report again, "No, the reserve was just empty. We've got it down as tampering right now, That should help the insurance company with getting the repairs done, where it's not a personal fault. But that still leaves the question as to who would have vandalized your vehicle."
Alexithymiaa: Jade swalllowed hard when she heard the officer's next remark, taking a step backward into the house, yet not shutting the door because that would be EVEN more suspicious than she was already fucking being.-
Tsaaq: His gaze followed Jade as she went inside then he turned to Felix once more. "Tampering huh?" He asked in a murmur.
Covet: "I can think of a couple people, but I have no proof right now, so I'm pretty much fucked, outside of not having to worry about a new vehicle." He said with a sigh and ran his hand through his hair. "Thanks for letting me know about this officer. Sorry to waste your time tonight."// "Not a waste at all, just doing my job. If you find out any other information that's helpful, please don't hesitate to call." The officer said handing over the report before he went back to his car and went back to doing his normal police things.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade turned quickly and nearly bolted down the hallway back to her room, rushing inside and slamming the door shut. She breathed quickly, looking out the front window to watch the police officer leave, positive Felix was going to sell her out.-
Tsaaq: "Night." He said, waving at the officer then turning to Felix. "Somebody cut your breaks. That's fucked up." He whispered to Felix. "Who do you think did it?"
Covet: "I can give you one guess, and you'd probably be right." Felix said turning around to look behind him, seeing that Jade had ghosted. Giving a wave to the officer as he drove off, while the tow truck finished up what it was doing. "Someone insanely jealous, who clearly has some issues."
Alexithymiaa: -She panicked as she looked around her room at her things, tears springing into her eyes because she just assumed she was going to be arrested now despite not actually thinking out her actions.-
Tsaaq: He nodded his head slowly. "I had a feeling too." Thaddeus said. "So what are you gonna do?" He asked him. "You should get inside before you fall out or something out here."
Covet: "I don't know. What can I do? It's not like I have any proof that it was her." Felix said as he folded up the papers and put them in his pocket. "She'd probably never admit it either, not with how she bolted, once she figured out what was going on." Felix turned around and made his way back up the step towards the door. "I need some tylenol" He said with a sigh as he rubbed his still throbbing head.
Alexithymiaa: -She moved over to the glass to peer outside, not able to see Thad or Felix from her position at the window. Her stomach flipped a few times and she walked to her bedroom door, pulling it open a crack and poking her head out so she could listen.-
Tsaaq: Thad went into the house and closed the door behind then. "I've got ya." He said as he went towards the bathroom to open the medicine cabinet and grabbed some tylenol. "You're right, there isn't any proof. But what else can you do?"
Covet: "Thanks Dude." Felix said as he followed along leaning against the door frame, "No idea, what would you do, if you were in my shoes?" he asked.
Covet: [Felix that's a terrible question to ask Thad.]
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing footsteps coming down the hallway, she pulled herself into the room and closed the door a bit more, leaving it open just a crack so she could still hear well.-
Tsaaq: He stood across from Felix and thought hard about it. "A year or two ago?" He began to admit. "Honestly?" Thad replied. "You don't want to know what I'd do... You should probably just do whatever the right thing is." He suggested.
Covet: "Oh, right." Felix said looking away from Thad awkwardly, "Yeah, What's the right thing? Telling the cops who I think could have done it? Or confronting the person just to have it all happen, or worse happen all over again?" He said as he took the tylenol from him and popped it into his mouth swallowing them dry. "That accident could have been way worse if we'd been on the highway, or the interstate.
Covet: Covet: "Oh, right." Felix said looking away from Thad awkwardly, "Yeah, What's the right thing? Telling the cops who I think could have done it? Or confronting the person just to have it all happen, or worse happen all over again?" He said as he took the tylenol from him and popped it into his mouth swallowing them dry. "That accident could have been way worse if we'd been on the highway, or the interstate."
Alexithymiaa: (Shes just eavesdropping from her room so you can post around me)
Covet: [My sentence was a fail... I was trying to hury and copy it before I crashed...]
Tsaaq: He inhaled deeply when hearing Felix's reaction. "I guess telling the cops." He said with a confirming nod. "What does your head tell you to do?" He asked Felix.
Covet: "Both. Though honestly, I'd be just fine with the guilt eating her alive too. That's probably worse than anything I can do. And I'm strangely comfortable with that." He said in a flat sardonic tone.
Tsaaq: Thaddeus lowered his head while thinking. "How about you do both?" He asked, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I mean, make her feel guilty but also keep some tabs on her.
Covet: "Yeah, couldn't hurt, really. Telling the cops is definitely the right thing to do, and she'd do nothing less herself. Keeping tabs on her would be harder though. I don't want her to start thinking that I actually give a rats ass about her at this point. But I have to draw the line somewhere." He said as he turned and headed back towards the living room, he felt his phone go off and sent a response back to Steph.
Tsaaq: He listened to Felix and watched him walk away. "If you need any help just let me know." Thad called out to him. He went to glance at Jade's room door before going to his own.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the banter back and forth about the possibility of Felix going to the police to rat on her, Jade swallowed hard, pushing her door shut completely. // Steph pulled up in an Uber, climbing out of the car with her bag and heading up to the front door. Not bothering to knock or ring the bell or anything, she pushed the door open and stepped inside, nudging it closed behind her only to see Felix coming into the living room. "I'm really mad, but I honestly feel like garbage so I'm going to sleep so I have enough energy to be mad about this tomorrow." She spoke quickly, walking straight ahead of her to the stairs so she could make her way to the second floor.-
Covet: "If you could just keep an eye on my Jeep, make sure no other shenanigans happen to it. That would be cool. Or if you notice her going upstairs at all." Felix said, then turned to see Steph come barging into the house, "You and me both, my head hurts too much to make that big deal of it tonight." He gave Thad a slight wave before he made his way up the stairs to go lay down and get some real sleep tonight.
Tsaaq: Thaddeus nodded calmly from where he was. He stepped into his bedroom and did homework things, checking up on the jeep every once in a while.
