A gigantic Thing reminicint of a Lizard, that reaches to the ceiling, and seems to envelop the room. It's eyes glow an icy blow, and an icy mist puffs from it's nostils as it breathes. 2 wings are folded on it's back, it's claws are easily as large as you are>

[19:37] <~Kroked> "BEHOLD" it bellows, it's voice deeper and more monstrous "MY TRUE FORM, FALL IN AWE OF MY MAGNIFICENCE!"

[19:40] <~Kroked> The dragon roars in fury
[19:49] <~Kroked> Josh takes that moment and rushes forward slashes, unsheathing his weapon., his blade a blinding white as it slices deep into the Dragons chest, causing the roar to become a scream

[19:55] <~Kroked> Josh gets his guard up, and the force of the blow causes him to slide backwards, there's a gash in his shoulder

[19:59] * Violet takes the momentary distraction and weakness to focus a pyrokinetic attack directed at the wound on the dragon's chest
[20:00] <~Kroked> A mirror appears in Joshs left hand and he tosses it into the air, slicing it in 2. in front of Him appears a Man with a Frog for a head, who waves a staff, creating a literal Tornado on the thing at the same time as you do that, connecting with the wind, turning it into a flamenado
[20:02] <~Kroked> it envelops the dragon, who roars, obvious torment in it's voice. You notice a sort of look of releif on Josh's face
[20:05] <~Kroked> and than the Jaws of the dragon opens agaian, but this time it's not a roar, but  afog of Ice that comes out
[20:08] <~Kroked> the fog clears, and Josh is ok, but his skin is tinted blue, and he seems to be trembling from the cold, frost covers him, and his hair and beard are frozen

[23:27] <~Kroked> the doctor seem very worried, and explains that the dragon has cut through a lot of muscle, and ruptured some internal organs. he'll have to do surgery immediatly
[23:29] <~Kroked> he tells you it will take most of the day, and that you can wait at his house next door
[23:30] <~Kroked> you now have the choice to chat while the surgery happens, or skip to the result

[23:31] <Talia> Talky talky.
[23:32] <~Kroked> the atmosphere is tense in the room as you wait, Kaia, still exhausted from her ordeal, falls asleep quickly
[23:33] <Talia> "...."
[23:34] * Violet leans back and sighs, exhausted as well.
[23:34] <Talia> "...Hey Violet... haven't we met before?"
[23:35] <Violet> "I think so. You were in that one city two years ago, right? You went after that bird-thing right after you arrived here?"
[23:35] <Talia> "Two years ago?"
[23:35] <Talia> "Geez... quite the jump, I guess."
[23:36] <Talia> "For a bit there, I thought I was only sent to that location to fight that thing... but now I guess it was so I also met you."
[23:36] <Violet> "Funny. That's kind of what Josh said when I met him."
[23:36] <Talia> "That was a week ago, for me."
[23:38] <Violet> "How...how does that work?"
[23:44] <Talia> "Well you see, me and my friends go from place to place with this living ship known as the Traveler."
[23:45] <Talia> "He can travel through space and time, so after defeating the bird-thing, I went back on the ship and spent the last couple days calibrating my Thrust Buckles, and when I exited again I was here. Today."
[23:49] <Violet> "Well, we're either lucky you were here today, or someone wanted you to help us...I don't know what I would have done if you didn't show up when you did. You probably saved all our lives down there."
[23:51] <Talia> "...H-Hopefully, yeah.
[23:51] * Violet sighs. "Well if Josh...doesn't make it, you should know that I'm very grateful that you saved me and Kaia."
[23:52] <Talia> "If Josh doesn't make it... then I arrived late because it was what was supposed to happen."
[00:03] <Violet> "Let's just hope that it wasn't supposed to happen..."
[00:05] <~Kroked> the door to the room opens
[00:05] <~Kroked> the Doctor slowly walks in
[00:06] <~Kroked> his shirt is full of blood, and he looks very tired
[00:06] * Violet leaps to her feet, anxious to hear
[00:06] <~Kroked> "Well, there were... a few complications."
[00:07] * Talia is apprehensive, keeping her distance, but listening intently
[00:10] <~Kroked> "The wounds were much more extensive than I had hped, the damage far worse than it looked..."
[00:10] * Violet trembles
[00:10] <~Kroked> "I...Lost him."
[00:12] <Violet> "W-what do you mean?"
[00:12] <~Kroked> "He died..."
[00:12] <~Kroked> "For about five minutes"
[00:13] <Violet> "A-and?"
[00:13] <~Kroked> "With effort I was able to bring him back"
[00:13] <~Kroked> "As long as he stays stable...he should pull through"
[00:15] <~Kroked> "But he's still in very deilcate condition"
[00:16] * Violet exhales as she collapses into her seat. "Do you get off, making people think someone died, then revealing that they're not actually dead?"
[00:16] * Violet straightens up in her seat. "But thank you very much. You don't know what this means to us."
[00:16] <~Kroked> he nods "You'll need to let him rest for a few days, after that, he should be fine"
[00:16] <~Kroked> "O, at least, no longer at deaths door"
[00:18] * Violet nudges Kaia awake
[00:21] <~Kroked> she doesnt respond
[00:21] * Violet shakes Kaia's shoulder a little more

[00:23] <Violet> "Kaia? Kaia are you alright?"
[00:24] <~Kroked> she doesnt respond
[00:24] <~Kroked> the doctor, worried, heads over to check whats going on
[00:24] * Violet has panic in her voice, "Doctor, i-is she alright?"
[00:27] <~Kroked> he checks her over

[00:28] * Violet has tears welling up in her eyes
[00:28] <Violet> "P-please, do whatever you can!"
[00:28] <~Kroked> he pats you in the head "It should be ok"

[00:30] <~Kroked> her breathing is extremely shallow, almost non-existant

[00:30] <~Kroked> after a few minutes the doctor returns

[00:31] <~Kroked> he takes out a rudimentary needle and kneels next to Kaia
[00:32] <~Kroked> he injects it in her neck, and s soon as he take it out, she jerks away

[00:32] <Violet> "Kaia! You're alright"
[00:32] <~Kroked> "Wh-what happened?"
[00:32] * Violet clasps hands with her, relieved
[00:36] <~Kroked> The doctor explains what happened, and you are instructed to not let her sleep
[00:36] <~Kroked> skip a few days to when you are allowed to visit Josh?
[00:37] <Talia> Talia's not gonna stick around that long.
[00:37] * Violet wants to talk to Kaia
[00:41] <~Kroked> go ahead
[00:42] * Violet sadly addresses Kaia, "What's going to happen to us? Is there even anyone left?"
[00:43] <~Kroked> Kaia shakes her head slowly "I... I don't know vi. WIth everyone gone... it's going to be hard"
[00:44] <Violet> "Is everyone really gone?"
[00:46] <~Kroked> "Maybe... I didn;t... really get a good look"
[00:46] <~Kroked> "I was snatched up rather quickly"
[00:49] * Violet lowers her head. "I didn't see anyone else alive. I don't know if there was anyone staying with the caravan, though..."
[00:51] <~Kroked> Kaia gives a sorrowful look. "I'll miss them all... but life must move on. You, me, and Josh can continue Traveling together.Of course, you can come too if you wish Ms Talia."
[00:53] * Talia looks up, from the floor where she has taken off her contraption and had been tweeking on them with a screwdriver
[00:53] <Talia> "No... that's fine. Josh asked me to do something for him in another universe, so I think I'm going to go handle that, then pop back in when I'm needed."
[00:55] <~Kroked> she looks at you quizzically "Universe?"
[01:00] <~Kroked> she shrugs "Well, I wish you luck than"
[01:01] <~Kroked> "DOn't worry Violet "
[01:01] <~Kroked> "Everything will be fine, I'm sure of it"
[01:01] * Violet nods. "At least we're still together."
[01:02] <~Kroked> "Exactly" she gives you a smile and hugs you
[01:02] * Violet hugs her back tightly
[01:05] <~Kroked> the night passes, and you and Talia spend shifts keeping Kaia awake till the doctor says it's safe. after that Talia leaves
[01:06] <~Kroked> a few days later, The doctor informs you that Josh has recovered enough for visitors
[01:07] <~Kroked> Kaia is busy recovering whatever supplies left from the wagons she can, so you end up going alone
[01:07] <~Kroked> when you arrive, Josh is sitting up, looking out the window
[01:07] <~Kroked> he doesn't notice you come in
[01:08] * Violet coughs slightly to make her presence known. "Hello, Josh. How are you feeling?"
[01:09] <~Kroked> he jumps and looks to the door "Oh!, hey Violet. I'm doing ok I guess, hurt a little, but I'm not dying at least" he gives a small laugh
[01:09] <~Kroked> Josh is currently shirtless, barring a bunch of bandages covering his chest
[01:10] * Violet smiles in relief. "I'm so glad you're doing better."
[01:11] * Violet walks over and sits on the side of his bed. "I just wanted to thank you for saving Kaia. I don't know if I could have survived that thing, let alone saved Kaia without you."
[01:12] <~Kroked> "Why do you think I kept telling you to run?" he says with a small grin "By the way, thanks for not. I'm not sure I would've made it without your fire to make things easier"
[01:14] * Violet laughs lightly "Maybe next time you'll give me the benefit of the doubt, then?"
[01:14] * Celia flies over from Violet's own shoulder and rests upon Josh's.
[01:15] * Celia places a warm hand against his cheek
[01:15] <~Kroked> he chuckles and lightly ruffles Celia's hair with a finger "Nice to see you too Celia."
[01:16] * Celia playfully bats at his finger before returning to Violet's shoulder.
[01:17] <~Kroked> Josh chuckles "By the way Violet, I'd like that back now". he says, pointing at your chest
[01:18] * Violet gives him an slightly worried look. "I...I don't..."
[01:18] * Violet looks confused and almost scared
[01:18] <~Kroked> you look down, and find a familiar golden pocket watch hanging on your neck
[01:19] <~Kroked> you... dont know when it got there
[01:19] <Violet> "Oh...OH"
[01:19] <~Kroked> "What?"
[01:20] * Violet pulls it off and hastily hands it to him. "N-nothing."
[01:21] <~Kroked> as soon as it touches Josh's hand you feel.. colder. like a sort of warmth you didn't realize you had had been lost
[01:22] <~Kroked> its a sort of melancholy feeling
[01:23] * Violet shivers.
[01:23] * Celia flies into Violet's arms
[01:23] * Violet clutches Celia closely
[01:24] <~Kroked> Josh gives a sort of relieved sigh "Sorry, that was probably... less than nice feeling"
[01:24] * Violet nods
[01:25] <~Kroked> "Doctor said I died before, right?"
[01:26] <Violet> "Yes, and he conveniently mentioned so /before/ stating that you were okay."
[01:27] <~Kroked> Josh smirks "Sorry about worrying you. But, when I died, my power moved to you. but, than I came back"
[01:27] <~Kroked> "What you felt was that power returning to me"
[01:28] <~Kroked> "It would have done it by itself eventually but... well, I wouldn't be able to cancel marking you as my heir"
[01:29] <Violet> "Interesting. Are you sure that you are alright with me not being your heir anymore, though?"
[01:29] <~Kroked> "I only did that, because I was afraid I was going to die. You... don;t want to be a Traveler."
[01:30] * Violet gives Josh a pointed look at his still-weak and almost dead self, "I can imagine."
[01:37] <~Kroked> "Yeah, it's not the easiest job in the world, or one with a whole lot of benefits. I kinda had to give up my friends because of it. But... I am doing things that matter".
[01:37] <~Kroked> "And I guess I'm happy with that"
[01:37] <~Kroked> "I wouldn't want to shove that kind of thing on a young girl like you though"
[01:38] * Violet nods. "As long as it makes you happy."
[01:39] <~Kroked> "I dunno about /happy/ I guess but... when I was a kid, I was a real nerd, and had a hard time in school. got bullied a lot, and caused me to develop depression. I lost myself in the fantasies wove by books and games. I couldn't help but wish I could be  agreat hero like them"
[01:40] <Violet> 'You're right. Happy isn't the right word. It gives you a sense of fulfillment, which is just as, if not more important."
[01:41] <~Kroked> "More like 'be careful what you wish for'" he laughs
[01:42] <~Kroked> "I'm fulfilled... kinda. but if I had the choice, I think I'd go home, and try to live a normal life"
[01:43] <~Kroked> "I've had more than enough adventure"
[01:44] <Violet> "Well, I guess it speaks a lot for your character that you didn't leave me as your heir or try to pass the power off to me."
[01:44] <~Kroked> Josh shrugs "I'm just giving you the choice I didn't have"
[01:45] <~Kroked> "If you really want to, I wont rescind it, God knows I couldt stop you"
[01:45] <Violet> "Well, I'm glad you did. Thank you."
[01:46] <Violet> "I'm quite satisfied with the way I am now."
[01:47] <~Kroked> "Good. I'm glad. Than I annul your vows"
[01:47] <~Kroked> for a single moment, it feels as if your body is bathed in ice
[01:47] <~Kroked> and than everything returns to normal, except you have a sense of something... missing
[01:54] * Violet shivers and clutches Celia holds Celia closer.
[01:54] * Violet can't help but frown at the sensation
[01:55] <~Kroked> Josh frowns "Sorry, ar eyou ok?"
[01:56] <Violet> "Yes, it just feels odd.
[02:02] <~Kroked> "you'll feel better after a little while, its kinda... disconcerting, when your soul is messed with."
[02:03] * Violet gives him a sarcastic look of shock, "You don't say? How odd."
[02:03] <~Kroked> he rolls his eye's and leans back "Gah, I'm so /tired/"
[02:03] <~Kroked> "Stupid Dragon"
[02:04] * Violet smiles and comfortingly smooths his hair back. "I'll leave you to sleep now. Dream about killing that stupid dragon again, alright?"
[02:05] <~Kroked> Josh snerks "I'm not sure I want to relive that experience, but I'll try to get some sleep"
[02:06] <~Kroked> he lays himself down
[02:07] * Violet stands up to leave. "I hope you'll be feeling better soon. Get that rest."
