[14:33] <Fawksie> I stepped up to the right, and was immediately barged out of the way by this coat wearing bad dye-job sexagenarian, who then turned round and gave me a look like I'd just shat on her face

[14:34] <Fawksie> and she said "There were two people waiting for a checkout", and I said "You were queuing for that checkout over there"
[14:35] <Fawksie> and she said "we were queueing for the first available checkout" and I said "There are two checkouts, therefore two queues!"

[14:35] <Fawksie> and at that point she was called forward, and gave the same look of fizz to the cashier, slammed down a handful of change, stuffed her things into a bag and stormed off swearing over her shoulder

[14:36] <Fawksie> so I caught up with her on the street and barged straight in front of her as I passed

[14:37] <Fawksie> if she'd just spoken to me and advised me of her ill-informed intention to queue for a checkout that she wasn't standing within six yards of, I'd have let her go ahead, but she elected to be a prize cunt about it, so I wasn't going to let her off
