History lesson [sofar]

As far as the history lesson went, Kane was apparently the prince of Atros, a levitating isle found in the middle of the world. His parents were unfortunately murdered, while his right to rulership was stolen by another rival family.

Later on, Kane had hidden himself away along with his lover, Cecile, where they'd make their plans for taking back the throne. He and several powerful Magi began to band together to create a rebellion in hopes of overthrowing the 'false king', as they called him. These mages begin spreading out to cause havoc throughout the royal palace. One such apostle, Percival, was both a renown playwright and court wizard. During his performance at a play, he stowed away several powerful war machines, before unleashing them onto the masses to quickly murder the Atran king, setting the stage for the first attack. The Apostles overwhelm Atran forces, killing the Archmage and taking control of the country. 'peace' follows for 3 years, in which Kane silently rules over Atros, whilst sending his magi to steal or acquire artifacts for their military.

Unfortunately, the lust for power didn't stop there though, and he'd set out to attack Valmastre and Fyria next; two separate lessons that would be explained further tomorrow, during the next lesson.
