  1. [10:01] "Remember the last time we fought within the dojo?" Himari held a hand on her hip keeping her Amber eyes upon Wano.
  2.
  3. "I'd like another match if you're able. Just to see where I've gotten."
  4. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [10:10] Waving a hand to dismiss any further comments towards nerin, "We'll speak about that. Later..." He continued on with some mumbling, knowing the topic of concern was held in that nature.
  8.
  9. Alas, the felinae wasn't too keen on speaking or even... Relating to certain things out in public. Instead now allowing their attention to be fully drawn by the kuro before them.
  10.
  11. "Sure, I can offer you a fight... I do need the practice myself." Raising one hand, he curled it into a tight fist and in that instant. A blush of azure flames licked the surface of his skins before dissipating like ashes to the wind.
  12.
  13. "I've been attempting to mimic, Id... I can't exactly say I produce the same power as she does in such a stance. But the training will go a long way." For even if the felinae was skilled beyond measure in the arts of energy.
  14.
  15. Their hidden technique was simply a one an done. Leaving them vulnerable to any assaults' afterwards.
  16.
  17. Now that they'd achieved perfect manipulation of their mana. It was time to control and hone it into his fist.
  18. (Wano)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [10:17] Wano says, "We'll see... And no problem, you can join us."
  24. [10:23] Himari led them into the dojo and immediately headed towards the center of the mat. It seemed Wano was following her in tow. Her hair was already blue from the constant mana she had already been channeling through her circuits in a flux.
  25.
  26. Himari spread her feet while she lowered into a stats. Soon afterwards, her mana erupted around her as a succumbing coat of raw energy.
  27.
  28. "I'm ready."
  29. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  30. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  31.
  32. [10:26] Across the dojo arena, the felinae began stretching as they waited for the kuro to prepare themselves. Coming to a stand, they readied themselves within a martial artist stance. Drawing from the well of mana reserved inside.
  33.
  34. Spread across their form within the span of a heartbeat. The cat focused on drawing more strength into their hands, all in attempt to send them outward like projectiles in a familiar fashion to, Id.
  35.
  36. "When struck... I felt; helpless... Such is the manner I should seek to inflict onto my opponents."
  37.
  38. His thoughts kept to himself, pacing his breathes. The cat gauged the rate at which they could send forward balls of energy. Attempting to harden his will and manifest them into fist, much like his mind imagined them.
  39.
  40. One could only see the results from the spar!
  41.
  42. Forward he went, restless without stop.
  43. (Wano)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [10:34] Lunging into the fray, the cats arms moved with a purpose. Deprived of the much needed release the felinae had grown accustomed to out in the wild. Bringing down one open palm after enough, energy surging along the length of their arm until finally released at the fist. Blowing out gushes of azure flames akin to what shrouded them both.
  47.
  48. Whipping out his leg, he reached out with both hands to generate a barrier to parry against the woman's beam. Dragged across the surface of the arena, the felinae reeled one arm back. Closing one eye shut, they took a snipers shot and thrusted one hand forward.
  49.
  50. From behind the barrier, a fiery fist make work in crossing the distance in a short span of time. But alas, mostly deflated upon impact. Doing only enough to cease the beam, but not enough to cause any disruption to their circuits.
  51.
  52. "Hrm… You've improved."
  53.
  54. He spoke, dusting off his clothing as the barrier subsided.
  55.
  56. "But what master of the arts would I be, to lose to someone still running around with the basics?" He laughed, leaning forward. Both hands came planted onto the ground.
  57.
  58. Their tail however became the main attraction, like a copter, it spun around generating energy at the center. Kept safe away, the felinae engaged now in a more animalistic manner.
  59. (Wano)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [10:42] Himari only remembered losing consistently to this felinae. They were insanely skilled and could practically the tell the gap in power when it came to them and Zachary. Albeit, Himari beat Zachary on multiple occasions but how would she fare againast, Wano?
  63.
  64. The raw mana that they both wore as shrouds clashed against each other as fist met and legs collided in a bombardment of strikes and blows. Himari's aura visually felt more calmer. This was because of the constant breathing technique that she has been doing since she was a young girl. Long intervals of her breathing taking in slow inhales and vice versa.
  65.
  66. It kept her concentrated. Especially against Wano when his barrier was quickly created when her energy beam came in close proximity to the felinae.
  67.
  68. "I'm glad to hear that," she voiced, straightening her form and moving a bit to the side of the arena.
  69.
  70. "A master shouldn't lose to someone who usesthe basics, I agree. However, if the one who uses the basics deems to find out if they've grown to master the basics by defeating the master, then they should try."
  71.
  72. Her stance was reassumed. Brows were taking a bit of depth as her golden hues began to refocus on her opponent. Her mana started to burn more brightly.
  73. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  74. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75.
  76. [10:53] Unlike the last few clashes, the felinae decided to up the antsy glares given in the midst of combat and lure the martial artist into a game of cat and mouse.
  77.
  78. Advantageously making use of the dojo walls, the momentum gathered from every push gave weigh to stronger punches delivered by the felinae. It allowed for the spiraling surface to expand amidst the fray.
  79.
  80. Kept a safe distance, it was only by sheer irony the cat decided to start making use of their tail in such a manner. Much like an extra limb, he could express the display of his control.
  81.
  82. Even down to his ears. Each twitch generating subtle waves of energy to compel the spiral bombs enhancement. Working in unison, his body had become a single tool within itself over the years.
  83.
  84. From the blade, the hands, to the factory that now be his core. The rush of adrenaline kicked in, expressed in the growing grin blushed out whenever the two would meet at the center.
  85.
  86. Whipping out kicks and punch's, the felinae moved forward without remorse. Without care, a reckless abandonment for their well-being. And as the battle went on, both themselves and the shroud surrounding them grew fiery in spite.
  87.
  88. "You've still a long way to go!"
  89.
  90. He called out past the sounds of fist meeting fist. Had his blindfold not been tied so tightly, he'd have lost it by now.
  91.
  92. Nevertheless, victory was found in the slimmest of margins. Erecting a fist from below, he'd catch the kuro with a light upper cut, but with enough force to send them off the ground.
  93.
  94. "Got'cha!"
  95.
  96. They cried out, slamming both palms into the center of their chest and releasing the image of a fist from their mind outward. Even if poorly done in comparison to, Id. The lack of distance allowed them to use all their force at once. Propelling them further into the air and briefly without the capacity to wield any magics.
  97.
  98. Allowing his own energy to course through and briefly overload the kuro's mana network.
  99.
  100. And following said motions, the cat twirled on their hind foot. Snatching the ball from behind their tail and leaping into the air to follow behind the woman. Slamming the bomb against their chest. Expanding further and further, it pushed them into the dojo ceiling. Crushing them against the pressure that lasted only for a second.
  101.
  102. Slayed by the cats own command in though.
  103. (Wano)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [11:17] Things were beginning to pick up as the fighters continued on. Even Himari was noticing the change in her opponent's fighting style. Much like their tail beginning to be used as an actual source to land attacks. They were aiming to do something to throw Himari off. It worked. To a degree.
  107.
  108. The Kurokaiyo would only find herself chasing after Wano like he was using his actual animal instincts to run away from her while also juking from her attacks and landing his own. As a martial artist, she aimed to counter his blows the moment they came in even if she sustained damage from them. She was trained to take in that pain and embrace it much like a defeat while analyzing what caused it and what she could do to prevent it.
  109.
  110. Himari let her breathing slow down. Any time she found it picking up pace, she'd prevent such. It was the only way that she'd stay calm and concentrated during her match despite the felinae's antics. It felt much like another felinae she has fought before. However, this one felt much more skilled and powerful. She noticed this when they released a larger sphere of raw mana towards their back. Unlike Zachary's, this was bigger in size and confined much more mana within its center. As a result, it flipped a switch in Himari.
  111.
  112. She couldn't get hit by it again.
  113.
  114. Himari had to focus on evasion and dodging. It was a hard goal with how her opponent was quicker but Himari was one of the more flexible Kurokaiyo's; her body bending in ways that would make it easier to evade the cat's kicks and punching when they lunged forward at them.
  115.
  116. As the mock-battle went on, Himari deemed a moment to test out a technique. She stood still and waited for an opening in which, she'd gather the mana from the surrounding area and let it flow in the spaces between her ethereal being. As a result, she'd direct said mana to her dominant hand and form into a sphere. Unlike many others, itsform wasn't perfect and was smaller than normal. It was worth a try.
  117.
  118. Once that opening was found, Himari used her metaphysical abilities and dashed forward to appear right behind the felinae. She hoped to succeed and land the attack right into their upper body. Although, noticing their tricks, they completely missed and only found themselves in switched positions.
  119.
  120. She did, indeed, have a long way to go.
  121.
  122. On the ground, Himari would pick herself back up. The overriding of her mana circuitry from Wano's technique that she's only seen from Id, she'd try to endure it. Each technique was followed by another. Wano was definitely stronger in this case.
  123.
  124. "Damn.."
  125. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127. [11:25] Had the felinae not been so self-aware of their surroundings. They might've missed what nerin said in the midst of the spar. And yet, when the cat spoke it, it said otherwise. "Id does seem like more of the patient type." They'd respond in a raspy tone.
  128.
  129. Still yet to fully compose themselves, beads of sweat dripped onto the blindfold all the while. "I can't say i'm too keen on copying someone's directly." He explained, closing his fist after some breathes. A glance was made over in the kuro's direction.
  130.
  131. "Hope you're all good over there, yeah?"
  132.
  133. He'd laugh, waiting for the dust clouds to scatter. But considering their heightened senses. He knew well the woman was still standing. "That question you wanted to ask. Still remember it?" Asking not out mockery, but generally curious. Ensuring the kuro wouldn't forget.
  134.
  135. It's in this instance the cat's brain was throbbing with knowledge being absorbed and expelled. Flexing each of his fingers individually as to remember the feelings he had in the spar against the kuro.
  136.
  137. I can do it as well... Just have to keep at it.
  138. (Wano)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [11:34] Himari would send her feet into the air and with the momentum, she'd land on her feet as she performed a kip-up. Her raw mana would've released but her hair would've stayed the same.
  142.
  143. "Yeah, I'm alright," she spoke as eyes met with Wano's blindfold. She dusted off her clothes begin to ponder the thoughts.
  144.
  145. "Ah, yes. My question." She raised a hand to go through the strands of her hair and touch at her scalp. Would it be best to ask them instead of being taught by Zachary?
  146.
  147. "Would you like to be my mentor?" she questioned, giving them a casual expression.
  148. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  149. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  150.
  151. [11:40] "A-Aha... Really?" The felinae managed to mumble back in response. And even if the blindfolds concealed their gaze, the expressions of his eyebrows an lips could surely show caught off-guard they were.
  152.
  153. "No offense, but... I imagined you and your family to be rather secluded in all forms of learning." Whether it be by themselves of amongst each other. Some were just content being on their lonesome.
  154.
  155. Much like the cat was.
  156.
  157. "I can't say I can directly reveal all forms of energy arts to you... In the end, I am something of a specialist within the field." Reaching out his hand, one palm opened to quickly reveal the nature of his words.
  158.
  159. Spiraling into existence, a small vacuum siphoned off the subtle releases of energy waving off the cat.
  160.
  161. "But magic is all about The mind, more so with energy magic. With the right application. You can manifest anything with the right direction and will todo so." He explained, as though the kuro didn't already know such details.
  162.
  163. But the cat felt a need to express it as such regardless. "If you'll have me teach you then. I am willing."
  164.
  165. Offering a glance casted in the direction Nerin and Marisol, planning to say something, but deciding against it.
  166.
  167. For now they just remained with the kuro in sight. Waiting for a response before trailing off to the sidelines.
  168. (Wano)
  169. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  170.
  171. [11:50] "No offense taken. I think the same other than myself, really."
  172.
  173. Himari rested a hand on her hip. Continuing to rest her eyes on the felinae from across the mat, she tilted her head and didn't think Wano was willing.
  174.
  175. Rather someone else she knew who was here at the dojo at this instant.
  176.
  177. Although,
  178.
  179. "That is fine. I've already gotten the concept that unlike everything else. This way of magic is a part of you."
  180.
  181. She walked a bit forward while waving her hand and standing directly in front of Wano while holding her hands near her side and bowing right in front of Wano.
  182.
  183. "I think I will declare you as my mentor. Now that I know you're willing." A single eye looks up as she still bows before raised her upper body.
  184. (Himari Kurokaiyo)
  185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  186.
  187. [11:55] Stepping back one, they felinae followed the same action. Bowing only partially before coming back to a stand. "We'll begin soon enough then, yeah? Can consider this your... First lesson... I'm sure that's the reason you asked to spar. First?" Taking little to care for what might be each and everyone's reasoning behind learning beneath the felinae.
  188.
  189. Objectively? The sought to teach as many as they could in the end, if only for names sake. To be known as more than just an average wielder of the arts.
  190.
  191. But as its mascot. One of many other symbols of Will.
  192.
  193. "I'll admit though... A lot of what I teach is something you'll have to carry on to train with on your own. Most of my teachings incorporate use of the mind over body. So prepare for a lot of meditation."
  194.
  195. Something ironically enough. The cat had lacked much of in the pass years.
  196.
  197. "Alright then!"
  198.
  199. He exclaimed with a sudden smile now, reaching out they'd make an attempt to pat the kuro's shoulder. Gesturing them both off to the sidelines for the time-being.
  200.
  201. "Should you catch me around here in the coming weeks, months. Don't think of yourself as a bother when requesting a lesson."
  202. (Wano)
