You already have a .edu address!!! No work needed.
All you do is take your existing email, say:

tangtaijia@gmail.com

and you replace the @ with a % so bob's email becomes:

tangtaijia%gmail.com

and add @cet.edu to the end, so we end up with:

tangtaijia%gmail.com@cet.edu

Any email sent to this address will get forwarded to tangtaijia@gmail.com
