Present before start of meeting: Quintuplicate, Pomfwall.
Probably absent: Flower.
Definitely absent: Wally the Wall, Inquisitor Silicon.
Lyra entered at 7:11 PM.
Quintuplicate asked Lyra to wait for other people to arrive. She agreed.
Pomfwall, at the request of Quintuplicate, asked Lyra to come in now and then. She agreed.
Quintuplicate told Lyra the plan was to meet in Seattle, WA, in the week of August 10 to 17.
Nazashi entered at 8:12 PM.
Lyra replied that she was not sure she would have the time and the money, but she would try.
Quintuplicate told Nazashi about the plan.
Nazashi said if he sold his motorcycle he could make it.
Pomfwall said he might not have vacation time or money to go to Seattle.
Nazashi said the same.
Nazashi stated that he had some legal troubles.
Quintuplicate asked Nazashi if he had any conditions of his parole that would preclude travel to Seattle.
Nazashi replied that he had none except that he was forbidden from traveling to the school grounds of his county.
Pomfwall, at the request of Quintuplicate, asked Nazashi to come in now and then. He said he could not promise, but would try.
Nazashi asked if there was another method they could communicate.
Pomfwall replied IRC was good enough.
Quintuplicate presented these minutes to the meeting and asked if they were accurate.
Nazashi requested an amendment be made to them.
Quintuplicate agreed and asked if the new entry was accurate.
Nazashi stated that it was.
Quintuplicate asked if everyone had time on August 14.
Quintuplicate clarified that by saying the reasons for saying that were that Pomfwall had Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays off, and Quintuplicate's parents didn't want him to spend more than three days in a single city.
Pomfwall stated that his schedule might change by August.
Quintuplicate wanted us to talk about what we would do.
Quintuplicate suggested geohashing(http://wiki.xkcd.com/geohashing/Main_Page).
Pomfwall put forward going to a science museum.
Quintuplicate changed his mind and agreed with Pomfwall.
Quintuplicate asked Pomfwall if he could remember what any were called.
Pomfwall said one was called the "Pacific Science Center".
Quintuplicate asked everyone what they would eat.
Pomfwall said it was a bit early to decide.
Quintuplicate asked everyone if there were any history museums and if they wanted to see the University of Washington.
Pomfwall said there were some nice aquariums in the city.
Pomfwall asked Quintuplicate if he was planning to go to school at UW.
Quintuplicate said he had not decided but he wanted one without much hustle and bustle.
Quintuplicate asked Pomfwall whether they should see the Seattle Central Library.
Pomfwall said American libraries were not really that interesting.
Quintuplicate considered that reading was not really a group activity.
Quintuplicate asked everyone if they had anything more to say.
Nazashi said he was just lurking but he wanted to add that he was very unsure about whether he could go.
Quintuplicate closed the meeting and stated there would be another one this time next week.
Quintuplicate asked Nazashi to send a copy of these minutes to Wally the Wall and Inquisitor Silicon.
And the meeting ended at 9:44 PM.
