  6. +bkershaccount __ No - I cannot say that what "Stefan Molyneux" followed up with after the quoted text changed the context - significantly or otherwise. *In an effort to be funny and clever "Stefan Molyneux" dug himself a hole*. A hole that most of his target audience would have missed or actually agreed with. Let us recall what he said: *"[Men] have feelings in the same way that some women have thoughts."*
  7.
  8. Given that his rant is suggesting "feelings" are an impediment to men he is thus implying that "thoughts" are an impediment to women otherwise the "analogy" does not work (at least some women - I must presume he is referring to women who are in positions of responsibility and not powerless women [why would he talk about powerless women?] because otherwise he would mean all women but he did say "some"). As I say - "Stefan Molyneux" was making an effort to be funny and clever.
  9.
  10. Can you tell me what you believe he could have said after that which would have reversed or altered the meaning of that statement? "Stefan Molyneux" went on to say [about men's feelings] *They're there - they just shouldn't necessarily dominate everything"*. (And with the implication that some women's thoughts _"are there but should not necessarily dominate everything"_ the hole he dug got even deeper.)
  11.
  12. What "Stefan Molyneux" is saying in his video titled "FACTS VS. FEELINGS" is that - _sure_ - men have feelings *but they should not allow those feelings to govern/dominate their actions*. He is saying that men should leave that "feeling stuff" to women *because they are a gender that's dedicated "to that kind of thing"*. You see - according to "Stefan Molyneux" *feelings are for women and thoughts are for men*. _That's the kind of simplicity that "Stefan Molyenux" can be heard preaching_.
  13.
  14. For "Stefan Molyneux" to have meant *anything other than what he actually said* he would need to be saying that: _"Women have good use of their feelings AND good use of their thoughts that are on par with men"_. Do you think you could make a case for "Stefan Molyneux" saying that? If that's the case then his "analogy" [joke/pun] would not work (again - he was trying to be funny and clever).
  15.
  16. Do you think "Stefan Molyneux" is someone who suggests that "men make good use of their thoughts but not so much their feelings whereas women make good use of their feelings AND good use of their thoughts"? That is to say - do you think "Stefan Molyneux" believes men are somehow inferior to women in that women can have good use of both whereas men have good use only of thoughts?
  17.
  18. Or is "Stefan Molyneux" simply trying to say - _in his special way_ - that *"men are better with thoughts whereas women are better with feelings and that - _as far as our genders go_ - we should not try to mix our gender's "natural characteristics" [men=thoughts / women=feelings] because when we do that's when we run into problems"* (that is the take-home message I got from his little rant).
