  1. So I wanna start by saying I love all friends who I know from speedrunning, particularly those who were in 807 and on the parking garage roof. You guys made the event for me for sure and made it worth going for.
  2.
  3. That being said, I just don't like going to GDQs in general anymore. I am 100% certain now that I no longer like speedrunning and the general community and will never register for a GDQ again. If I was to show up, I'll go do stuff in the city and see you in the rooms that night. I'd think about doing this if it were in a new city (which it likely won't be), the chances of me wanting to do this in DC are low. But anytime during the day (with a couple exceptions of some smash friends or getting lunch a couple times) I didn't enjoy myself much at all. I had no interest in meeting new speedrunners or watching any games. GDQs are just too big for my liking now. Don't really like the idea of going to things like this when I give a shit about less than 10% of the people there.
  4.
  5. Going to this more inspired me to get my own shit together and find more things that I like to do because this just isn't it for me anymore. I'd still race game if asked but probably will be playing almost no video games otherwise. Not the thing I want to be doing.
